A curing chamber for curing and drying a flat printing product printed with at least one UV-curing pigment comprising a first chamber wall which comprises a cooling surface or is a cooling surface, a second chamber wall which is opposite the first chamber wall, wherein at least one UV lamp directed onto the cooling surface is arranged on or in the second chamber wall, third and fourth chamber walls which are arranged opposite one another between the first and the second chamber walls and which each comprise an introductory slot or removal slot and/or form an appropriate slot to the first chamber wall, fifth and sixth side walls arranged opposite one another and arranged between the first and the second chamber walls, wherein a gas inlet or a gas outlet is arranged in the vicinity of the third and fourth chamber walls, and the gas inlet is an inert gas inlet.

The disclosed radiation-curable acrylate-based ink-jet ink comprises a pigment, a bifunctional acrylate and, optionally, a trifunctional or multifunctional acrylate, a compound that has an ethylenic double bond and a molecular weight of 90 to 205, and a photoinitiator in the form of an acyl phosphine oxide, and furthermore contains 0.05 to 3.0 wt. % of stabilizer and 0.05 to 1.5 wt. % of surfactant.

Radiation-curable acrylate-based ink-jet printing ink

Description of an inkjet ink for application in inkjet printers, comprising (a) a solvent, which contains at least 80% of a homopolar, non-watery solvent, (c) one or several phospholipides. In such inkjet inks, the phospholipides have a stabilizing effect. In some applications it may be beneficial with respect to certain pigments to employ an additional dispersant. The inkjet ink has, with concurrent high dispersing stability, significantly improved de-wetting property, with high optical density and excellent storage stability on a nozzle plate of an inkjet print head.

Pigmented inkjet ink with improved anti-wetting properties

The present invention comprises an abrasion-resistant and blocking-resistant hot melt ink, which can be printed at a temperature of approximately 80.degree. C. to 100.degree. C. which includes an adhesion-facilitating substance, a viscosity-facilitating substance and a copolymer of polyvinyl pyrrolidone with one or several long-chain .alpha.-olefins with at least 10 carbon atoms. The ink has excellent adhesion properties with respect to the imprintable material or printing substrate, and withstands normal handling such as folding or bending. Additionally, the present invention includes colored hot melt inks that exhibit improved transparency properties even if the inks are formulated for printing at low temperatures.

Hot melt ink

Described is an ink for use in ink jet printers, comprising (a) a solvent, which consists at least of approximately 80% of a homopolar, non-watery solvent, (b) a pigment dispersed in the solvent and (c) a copolymer of vinyl-pyrrolidone with one or several long-chain .alpha.-olefins with at least 6 carbon atoms, specifically with 6 to 24 carbon atoms. Properties of the ink are as follows: reduced color bleeding, reduced penetration of coloring agent into the surface of the paper, improved optical density and improved storage stability.
