The invention concerns a multifunctional electrosurgical device for treating biological tissues comprising a first member and a second member linked by a hinge allowing the members to be moved together and apart from each other; the first member comprising, at the front end of same, a first electrode for forming a first electrical contact with the tissues and the second member comprising, at the front end of same, a second electrode for forming a second electrical contact with the tissues. The first electrode has a concave cross-section, capable of partially housing the second electrode and of making the second electrode protrude from the first electrode when the two members are moved together. The device is remarkable in that the electrodes are configured to allow the formation of the first electrical contact on the outer surface of the first electrode and the formation of the second electrical contact on the protruding part of the second electrode.

Multifunctional electrosurgical device

A method for successive printing of a first print job and a second print job on the same web using at least one printing group of the rotary press to print the first print job and the second print job is provided. The printing group includes at least a plate cylinder, a plate, a blanket cylinder and a blanket. A process for controlling the quantity of ink applied to a material being printed includes the stages of: driving an inking roller and a printing roller at first inking and printing speeds, changing the printing speed to a second printing speed, changing the inking speed to a second inking speed on the basis of a speed correction index, measuring a first and a second quantity of ink, calculating the difference in the quantities of ink applied, and altering the speed correction parameter on the basis of the difference in the quantity of ink printed. The process may be applied to offset presses.

The sheet transporting device of the invention includes: a transferring device () adapted to transfer a sheet (), a conveying device (A) for conveying a sheet transferred from the transferring device () onto the conveying device, and a controlling means () adapted to control the speed of the conveying device (A) and defining a transfer cycle (CT). The controlling means () is adapted to slow down the conveying device () when a sheet is conveyed by the related conveying device and to accelerate the conveying device when no sheet is present on said conveying device. The invention can be used for the cutting devices of rotary printing machines.

An inking device of a printing unit includes an ink reservoir, an ink film pick-up roller which has a shaft, and an inking roller having a shaft. A detector detects the distance between the inking roller and the pick-up roller and/or an angular displacement of the two shafts relative to each other and providing an output signal which represents this distance and/or this angular displacement. A controller angularly the second shaft relative to the first shaft, and the controller is capable of reducing the angular displacement and of positioning the pick-up roller in accordance with the output signal.
