An optical system and an interior lighting device for a motor vehicle including a light source coupled to such an optical system. The optical system includes a first portion of an optical assembly that allows a real image of the light source to the enlarged and projected into proximity to a diffuser of the optical system. The optical assembly also includes a second portion that plays the role of a projecting optic to project out of the optical system a real image of the of the light source formed in proximity to the diffuser. The optical system allows a luminance of the light source of the interior lighting device to be decreased while preserving its pixelization, allowing light sources based on light-emitting diodes and driven with a high-amperage electrical current to be used in motor-vehicle passenger compartments without any risk to the occupants.

A lens for shaping light rays, for a luminous lighting and/or signalling module of a motor vehicle, includes an entrance face for the light rays and an opposite exit face. The lens has a flat-lens shape the exit face of which is equipped with prisms forming a Fresnel structure, at least one of these prisms being equipped on an exterior face with diffractive structures, and the entrance face of which is at least partially equipped with microstructures. The lens applies to motor vehicles.

A lighting module includes at least one light-emitting assembly and one lens for shaping the emitted light rays, the lens having an entrance face for the light rays and an exit face. The lens is a flat lens, the lens and the emitting assembly being configured so that the exit face includes a first section and a second section that differ in the amount of light rays exiting from the lens via one or other of these sections in order that the first section forms an optical section and in order that the second section forms a lighting neutral section. The second section extends from the first section in order to have a largest dimension that is larger than the thickness of the flat lens, the exit face of the lens including features over the entirety of its area.

The lighting module comprises at least one lighting engine configured for forming a light beam with a cut-off line running along one or more axes, and at least one lens designed to project the light beam with a cut-off line. The lens comprises diffractive elements which correct all or part of the chromatism of the lens, and it comprises a central region which is lacking any diffractive elements.
