The storage device is configured to retrieve an identifier of the local network, allow access to the public data and a set of private data if the retrieved identifier is included in a first list of local networks, and deny access to the set of private data if the retrieved identifier is not included in the first list of the local networks.

A Laser device for optical packet data transmission in TDM-systems is provided. The device comprises a laser light source for outputting laser light beam and a laser driver for driving the laser light source; an optical modulator which receives and modulates the laser light beam output by the laser light source; a packet data source for outputting a packet data stream; and a modulator driver for receiving the packet data stream output by the packet data source and for driving the optical modulator in response to the packet data stream resulting in that the optical modulator modulates the laser light beam in response to the packet data stream. An optical demultiplexer system for separating adjacent wavelength bands without losing inter-band channels and comprising a first filter stage () of relatively narrow passband and relatively high selectivity in order to extract all of the inter-band channels. The first stage is followed by a second filter stage () of relatively broad passband and relatively low selectivity to extract the wavelength bands delivered by the first filter stage. Such a system makes it possible to use the inter-band channels, in particular for managing the network and the wavelength bands.

A multiwavelength band splitting device splits received optical packets transmitted via multiwavelength bands into at least three groups, each group including one multiwavelength band.
