This electrical protection system for a DC-current medium-voltage electrical circuit, comprising a disconnection module, for generating a counter-voltage greater than the voltage of the source for a current flowing therethrough that is equal to at most a few percent of the nominal current of the device, a resistive limitation module connected between a first terminal and a second terminal and configured so as to reduce the intensity of the output current of the protection system in order to limit the current between a value and upon a low impedance fault downstream of the device, and a primary switching module coupled in parallel across the disconnection module and the resistive module. The primary switching module is configured so as to switch between a first state in which the primary switching module is conductive and a second state in which the primary switching module forms a short circuit. Control means for controlling the primary switching module are configured so as to switch the primary switching module as soon as the current flowing in the first terminal reaches an upper limit value as lower value or a lower limit as upper value.

Static DC current-limiting switching system

The invention relates to a supply system for a plurality of loads connected in parallel to a direct current supply bus. The supply system includes a DC supply bus and a plurality of supply lines connected in parallel to the supply bus and supplying the said loads. The supply system includes uncoupling and damping means that is adapted to decrease the unipolar signals travelling within the supply system while the loads are being supplied. The uncoupling and damping means includes at least one inductance arranged in series in at least one of the supply lines. Protective means (are also provided for protection in the event of a fault.

Supply system to a set of loads connected in parallel to a direct current supply bus

This bidirectional power conversion system for a single-phase electric load is intended to be connected to a continuous supply bus delivering a single supply voltage and deliver to the load an alternating output voltage substantially in a cradle form. It includes a set of intertwined converters able to jointly deliver a control voltage whose phase shift of its fundamental component with respect to the output voltage is intended to control the transfer of power between converters and the load, said converters being controlled in such a way that the amplitude of the average value of the control voltage corresponds to the amplitude of the alternating output voltage and in such a way that said control voltage has amplitudes capable of reducing the fluctuations of a current flowing between the voltage converters and the load.

Bidirectional power conversion system for single-phase electric load and corresponding power conversion process

A DC-to-AC converter including six phase modules and two capacitors, a transformer with a three-phase primary winding and with two three phase secondary windings, each phase module receiving a DC voltage from a DC voltage bus and capable of transmitting an AC current, and including a transistor, able to modulate the output voltage according to five intensity levels, the first capacitance connected between the positive portion and the midpoint of the DC voltage bus, the second capacitance connected between the negative portion and the midpoint of the DC voltage bus, the first, second and third phase module are linked by their output to a different phase of the first secondary winding. The fourth, fifth and sixth phase module are each linked by their output to a different phase of the second secondary winding of the transformer, the primary winding of the transformer is linked to an electrical power supply network.

DC to AC converter

A reactive energy compensator is provided. The compensator is connected to an alternating electrical network including M phase(s), M being an integer greater than or equal to 1. The compensator includes M connection terminals, N banks of capacitor(s) capable of providing reactive energy, N being an integer greater than or equal to 2, N two-way voltage inverters, connected to each other in parallel and each connected to a unique capacitor bank, each inverter being able to convert a direct current into an alternating current including M phase(s) in one direction and the alternating current into direct current in the other direction, each inverter including first and second input terminals and M output terminal(s), the input terminals being connected to the corresponding capacitor bank, each output terminal corresponding to a phase of the alternating current and being connected to a corresponding connection terminal, and a device for balancing the voltage of the N capacitor banks.

An electronic power converter is provided. The electronic power converter includes at least one DC capacitor bank and one voltage inverter. The voltage inverter includes at least three phase modules connected to one another, each one specifically for the shaping of the current on one phase at the output of the voltage inverter. The DC capacitor bank is connected to the phase modules. The phase modules of the voltage inverter are distributed angularly around an axis in order to delimit between them a cylindrical space. The phase modules are interconnected by connection elements arranged inside the cylindrical space delimited by the phase modules. The DC capacitor bank is connected to the phase modules by the connection elements arranged inside the cylindrical space delimited by the phase modules.

Electronic power converter

The electric module includes a sealed enclosure (), at least one item of electrical equipment () arranged in the sealed enclosure () and which, in operation, heats the atmosphere, and a secondary cooling circuit. The secondary circuit includes a guiding channel () arranged in the sealed enclosure () so as to guide the atmosphere which has been heated by the item or items of electrical equipment () towards its top opening (B), and a passage () for the atmosphere delimited, at least partly, by the sealed enclosure () in order to enable a cooling of the atmosphere upon contact with the sealed enclosure (). The guiding channel () is thermally isolated from the sealed enclosure ().
