A battery module is provided having a cooling apparatus including at least one first line and at least one second line, wherein the first line and the second line conduct a fluid and absorb heat from cells of the battery module and transfer the heat to the fluid. The first line and the second line extend perpendicular to the cells of the battery module. The first line and the second line are arranged parallel to one another. A flow direction of the fluid in the first line is opposite a flow direction of the fluid in the second line.

A cooling device for a battery assembly, in particular a high-voltage storage unit, of an electrically driven vehicle has multiple cooling lines in which a coolant is conducted. The cooling device is designed to transfer heat from the battery assembly to the coolant. The cooling device has at least two individual cooling elements which are designed separately, which lie opposite a battery, and each of which is supplied with coolant via a dedicated valve paired with the respective individual cooling element. A unit including a battery assembly and such a cooling device are also provided.

Vehicle having a high-voltage battery which has a housing, wherein the housing has a housing floor which is essentially parallel to an underlying surface on which the vehicle is standing or travelling, a housing cover which is arranged spaced apart from the housing floor, housing walls via which the housing floor is connected to the housing cover. The housing has at least one housing structure plate which has a plane of maximum size which is perpendicular with respect to the housing floor and with respect to the housing cover, and an underside which faces the housing floor or is connected thereto, and an upper side which faces the housing cover or is connected thereto. In an interior space of the housing structure plate at least two parallel cooling ducts are provided, through which coolant or a cooling agent flows, and on a first side and a second side, lying opposite the first side, of the housing structure plate at least one electrical storage cell is respectively arranged, in particular a multiplicity of electrical storage cells are respectively arranged, wherein the storage cells each have a positive and a negative connecting pole. At least one connecting pole or both connecting poles of the storage cells is/are connected to the first and/or second side of the housing structure plate in a thermally conductive and electrically insulated fashion.

Vehicle having a high-voltage battery

A heating system for an electric or hybrid vehicle is provided. The heating system includes a refrigerant circuit, a heater heat exchanger which is arranged in a heating circuit, for air-conditioning the interior, a high-voltage storage device which is arranged in an HVS circuit, and a cooler which is arranged in a cooling circuit. The heating circuit, the HVS circuit, and the cooling circuit are integrated into a common coolant circuit. In a first HVS cooling operation, the HVS circuit is separated from the cooling circuit and connected to a chiller in order to discharge heat into the refrigerant circuit. In a second HVS cooling operation, the HVS circuit is connected to the cooling circuit via a chiller bypass in order to discharge heat via the cooler.

Heating system for an electric or hybrid vehicle, and method for operating such a heating system

A cooling device for stored energy sources, in particular for motor vehicles, is provided. The cooling device includes: multiple separate cooling modules, through which coolant can flow, for absorbing heat from the stored energy source, each module having an inflow and an outflow; a common feed line, from which the inflows of the cooling modules branch off; and a common discharge line, into which the outflows of the cooling modules open.

A heating system for an electric or hybrid vehicle, to which a high-voltage accumulator is connected, includes a coolant circuit having a heating circuit to which a heating heat exchanger is connected for air-conditioning the interior, and having a cooling circuit to which a cooler and a heat source are connected. The heating system has at least two refrigerating circuits, wherein a first refrigerating circuit includes an air-conditioning evaporator for air-conditioning the interior, and a first condenser, by which the first refrigerating circuit is thermally coupled to the coolant circuit in order to dissipate heat from the first refrigerating circuit. The second refrigerating circuit is thermally coupled by a second condenser to the coolant circuit. The two refrigerating circuits, however, are not coupled to each other. At least one of the refrigerating circuits further includes a chiller in order to dissipate heat from the coolant circuit.

Heating system, electric or hybrid vehicle comprising such a heating system and method for operating a heating system

A cooling element is provided for at least one object, in particular for a high-voltage battery. The cooling element includes a coolant inlet, to which a refrigerant can be supplied and which is connected to a main line. The cooling element is designed to transfer heat from the object to the refrigerant. The cooling element further includes at least one distributor which distributes the refrigerant from the main line to a plurality of parallel lines, wherein the refrigerant is present in the cooling element as a two-phase mixture and the distributor is configured to distribute the refrigerant uniformly to the parallel lines.

A method for air conditioning an electric or hybrid vehicle includes preconditioning a high voltage accumulator of the electric or hybrid vehicle. The electric or hybrid vehicle has an interior and the high voltage accumulator is air conditioned with an air-conditioning unit having a determined cooling potential. The high voltage accumulator has a current HVS temperature. The interior has a current interior temperature. During the preconditioning, the high voltage accumulator is supercooled in a preconditioning mode with the air-conditioning unit to an HVS temperature that is below an HVS operating temperature.

Method and air-conditioning system for air-conditioning an electric or hybrid vehicle

A control device, and a method for operating the control device, optimizes cooling of a high-voltage accumulator using an air-conditioning system in a vehicle. A coolant flow which is insufficient is detected by an evaporator for the high-voltage accumulator and, as a result, heat losses inside a condenser of the air-conditioning system are reduced for increasing the flow of the coolant.

The invention relates to an energy storage module for a device for supplying voltage, particularly in a motor vehicle. The energy storage module includes several prismatic storage cells that are arranged behind one another and stacked in at least one row, two end plates, and at least one tension element. The at least one row of stacked storage cells is braced between the two end plates by the tension element, and at least one of the end plates has at least one supporting surface for support on a structure carrying the energy storage module. The energy storage module also includes at least one thermally insulating element arranged on the supporting surface for thermal insulation between the at least one of the end plates and the carrying structure.

Energy storage module including a plurality of prismatic storage cells

A power supply device for a hybrid or electric motor vehicle, in particular a passenger vehicle or a motorcycle, includes a plurality of electrochemical storage cells and/or double-layer capacitors. The electrochemical storage cells and/or double-layer capacitors have a casing surface and, in an axial direction, a base surface and a cover surface which are connected by the casing surface, and each include electrodes. Adjacent to the casing surface of at least one of the storage cells and/or double-layer capacitors, a heat-conducting cooling apparatus is disposed which, although electrically insulated from the at least one storage cell and/or double-layer capacitor, is in thermal contact with a first circumferential section of the casing surface and dissipates the heat energy introduced by the casing surfaces of the at least one storage cell and/or the double-layer capacitor.

Heat-dissipating device for supplying power to a hybrid or electric motor vehicle

A cooling device and to a method for controlling a cooling device for vehicles is provided, the cooling device including a refrigerant compressor, a condenser downstream of the refrigerant compressor in the flow direction of the refrigerant, a first evaporator downstream of the condenser for cooling air to be supplied to the passenger compartment, a second evaporator arranged parallel to the first evaporator for cooling an electric accumulator, and a control unit which is configured to control the refrigerant compressor as a function of the cooling demands for the passenger compartment and/or the electric accumulator on the basis of the higher cooling demand requirement. The cooling device may further include electric valves between the condenser and the first and second evaporators to control a cooling capacity of the first and/or second evaporator to meet the cooling demands of the passenger compartment and/or the electric accumulator.

Cooling device for vehicles and method for controlling and/or regulating a cooling device

A voltage supply apparatus for a motor vehicle, especially a passenger car, truck or a motorcycle, includes a storage cell arrangement having one or more electrochemical storage cells and/or double layer capacitors that are mounted on top of each other. The storage cell arrangement is releasably connected in a form-fitting way to a heat-conducting cooling device that removes heat from the storage cells and/or double layer capacitors such that at least some of the storage cells and/or double layer capacitors of a respective storage cell group can each be thermally connected with the heat-conducting cooling device.
