A 1:4 reciprocal compact E/H hybrid combiner-divider, includes at least one primary waveguide and two secondary waveguides forming a one-piece structure configured such that the primary guide has a first end forming an input/output port and a second end defining an aperture and that each secondary guide has two ends forming two input/output ports, and a side aperture formed on one of the small side faces. The secondary guides are arranged so as to have a common side wall. They are arranged facing the primary waveguide such that the side apertures are situated facing the aperture formed by one of the ends of the primary waveguide and that the common wall is aligned with the central axis of the aperture of the primary waveguide.

An orthomode transducer and to a satellite transmission chain includes the orthomode transducer, for transmitting a first signal and a second signal in orthogonal propagation modes. The transducer comprises: a primary waveguide with a square or rectangular cross section, two guided access means having firstly a free end via which the first signal and the second signal are respectively injected or recovered, and secondly two arms connected to the primary waveguide. Each guided access means comprises a junction configured so as to connect the free end to the two arms of the guided access means, the two arms of each guided access means being connected to the primary waveguide at two off-centred locations on one or more sides of the primary waveguide symmetrically about an axis of symmetry of the primary waveguide.

An orthogonal-mode junction coupler and an associated polarization and frequency separator, the junction coupler comprises three opening slots, referred to as coupling slots, which are made in the casing of the coupler and pass through a plane referred to as transverse with respect to the junction coupler. Two of the three coupling slots are aligned along a first axis referred to as transverse with respect to the junction coupler, the section of the two coupling slots being of the same dimensions and of the same orientation. The two coupling slots are configured to be coupled to one of the two orthogonal linear polarizations. The third coupling slot is situated on a second axis referred to as transverse with respect to the junction coupler, the second transverse axis being substantially orthogonal with respect to the first transverse axis.

A radiating feed of a structural module comprises a feed horn linked to an RF system via a bent ring to orient the feed horn in a desired direction. The bend of the bent ring has an aperture angle of value predefined individually for each horn as a function of the desired orientation, and a vertex placed in a plane of symmetry of the RF system orthogonal to the plane XY containing the RF system. The RF systems of each radiating feed can then be arranged alongside one another and be incorporated in structural planar subassemblies, reducing the number of parts needed to create the multibeam antenna.
