The display device is arranged in a timepiece which includes a counting wheel and a manual control mechanism which is arranged to permit cyclical starting, stopping and resetting of the counting wheel. The display device includes an indicating member, a unit for moving the indicating member into a first predefined position when the counting wheel is being reset, a unit for moving the indicating member into a second predefined position, different from the first predefined position, when the counting wheel is being started, and a unit for permitting the indicating member to be moved into a reading position following stopping of the counting wheel, the reading position being determined by the position of the counting wheel.

An escapement mechanism adapted for transmitting mechanical energy pulses from a driving source to an oscillating regulator of a timepiece via a blade spring () operating in a buckling manner about a curvature point, wherein the blade spring () can build up the energy from the driving source between two pulses and transmit the same to the oscillating regulator upon each pulse via first () and second () levers. In order to optimize the adjustment of the tension of the blade spring (), the latter is mounted on a frame () capable of symmetric deformation relative to a first axis (AA) extending through the rotation axes of the regulator, the levers () and through the curvature point, and relative to a second axis (BB) perpendicular to the first one and extending through the ends of the blade spring ().

Escapement mechanism

A movement for a timepiece having a retrograde display member displaying at least one time division, includes a going train, elements for driving the display member including a wheel unit driven by the going train and carrying a first cam sharing the same axis of rotation. The movement also includes a rocker supporting a probe held against the edge of the first cam by deformable elastic elements undergoing a deformation of variable amplitude. This results in the application of a corresponding force on the rocker in proportion to the distance between the probe and the axis of rotation of the first cam. The movement also includes drive members to connect the rocker to a retrograde display member. A force-regulating device is interposed between the elastic elements and the rocker.
