A method for wireless communication between a plurality of transmitter devices and at least one receiver device using a repeater device on the surface of the Earth. Messages transmitted by transmitter devices and received by the repeater device are collected by the repeater during a collection window. The messages received during the collection window are retransmitted to the receiver device by the repeater device. The messages received during the collection window are retransmitted so that at least two messages received non-simultaneously are retransmitted simultaneously to the receiver device.

A method for achieving wireless communication between a transmitter and a receiver via a repeater device. The value of a first physical property of a message received from the transmitter is measured by the repeater device. The value of a second physical property to be used for the retransmission of the message is determined by the repeater device depending on the value of the first physical property measured for the received message. The message is retransmitted to the receiver by the repeater device using the determined value of the second physical property.

A method allowing a receiver device of a wireless communication system to receive a useful signal emitted by an emitter device. The useful signal corresponding to a signal, the phase or frequency of which is modulated by a sequence of two-state symbols corresponding to a sequence of binary data. A temporal envelope of the useful signal is detected and compared to a preset threshold value. Transitions between consecutive useful-signal symbols are detected, on the basis of the result of the comparison. A wireless communication method between a plurality of terminals and an access network. The access network is configured to transmit downlink messages on a downlink in reply to uplink messages transmitted by the terminals. The access network includes a plurality of half-duplex base stations. Each terminal waiting for a downlink message in reply to a transmitted uplink message is configured to listen to the downlink in a listening window, the duration of which is at least five times that of the downlink message. The method includes the steps of determining if listening windows of terminals overlap. When an overlap allows the transmission of several downlink messages by a single base station, the downlink messages are transmitted grouped together in a single transmission window of the base station.

Method and system for wireless communication between terminals and half-duplex base stations

A method for transmitting useful information between a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal connected via a transmission channel. The transmitting terminal defines control information for the useful information, and searches in an association table, which is accessible from the transmitting terminal, for a frame-synchronization word associated with the control information. The transmitting terminal generates a frame of data from the useful information, and transmits, over the transmission channel, a data stream that includes the frame-synchronization word and the frame of data.
