Arrangements described herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods for categorizing a waveform that includes processing a signal containing ultrasound data about the waveform, identifying one or more morphological variables of the waveform based on the ultrasound data, identifying one or more categories that correspond to a range of combinations of the morphological variables, and categorizing the waveform as belonging to one of the one or more categories. In some arrangements, the method may further include visualizing the waveforms, determining a probability that the waveform belongs to each of the one or more categories, and/or displaying the probability that the waveform falls into each of the one or more categories. Morphological variables may include quantifying absolute peak onset, number/prominence of auxiliary peaks, and systolic canopy length.

Categorization of ultrasound waveforms through morphological variables

A system includes a processing circuit configured to receive signals corresponding ultrasound data, extract a blood flow waveform from the signals, the blood flow waveform corresponds to a single pulse of the signals, determine a curvature characteristic of the blood flow waveform based on a plurality of local curvature parameters, and identify a medical condition for the blood flow waveform using the blood flow waveform. Each of the plurality of local curvature parameters indicates a degree to which the blood flow waveform deviates from a straight line at a location on the blood flow waveform.

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for mapping a section of a vasculature of a subject are described herein, including moving a probe to a first position at a body of the subject adjacent the section of the vasculature; transmitting, by the probe, a first ultrasound beam into a first portion of the section of the vasculature through the body of the subject; receiving first ultrasound data including at least one imaging parameter of the first portion based on the first ultrasound beam; moving the probe to a second position at the body of the subject adjacent the section of the vasculature and different from the first position; transmitting, by the probe, a second ultrasound beam into a second portion of the section of the vasculature through the body of the subject; receiving second ultrasound data including the at least one imaging parameter of the second portion based on the second ultrasound beam; and constructing a map of the section of the vasculature based on the first ultrasound data and the second ultrasound data.

Systems and methods for vascular mapping

A tool for facilitating medical diagnosis is disclosed herein, including an ultrasound device configured to collect ultrasound data from a patient, a display device, and a processing circuit configured to generate a cerebral blood flow velocity (CBFV) waveform based on the ultrasound data, determine morphology indicators identifying attributes of the CBFV waveform, and configure the display device to display the CBFV waveform and the morphology indicators.

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media related to a tool for determining presence or absence of a neurological condition in a subject are provided. The tool includes an ultrasound device configured to collect ultrasound data from a head of the subject. The tool further includes a processing circuit configured to calculate a curvature metric based on the ultrasound data. The processing circuit is further configured to calculate a velocity asymmetry metric based on the ultrasound data.
