A process for producing a coated, printed substrate comprising (a) providing a printed substrate, wherein the substrate comprises a surface on which resides one or more areas of a layer of an ink, (b) bringing together a component A and a component B to form a urethane coating composition, wherein component A comprises a polyisocyanate prepolymer A1, wherein the polyisocyanate prepolymer A1 is a reaction product of a polyisocyanate monomer A1a and an isocyanate-polyreactive compound A1b, wherein component B comprises one or more polyol B1, wherein the urethane coating composition has isocyanate index greater than 0.9, (c) applying a layer of the urethane coating composition to the surface. Also provided is a coated printed substrate made by such a method.

Printing system

The present invention relates to multilayer films. In one aspect, a multilayer film comprises a first polyethylene composition having a density of at least 0.965 g/cmand as further described herein and a second polyethylene composition having a density of 0.924 g/cmto 0.936 g/cmand as further described herein, wherein the multilayer film comprises 40 weight percent or less of the first polyethylene composition based on the total weight of the multilayer film.

Multilayer films and articles comprising the same

Embodiments of the present invention relate to multilayer films and articles. In one aspect, a multilayer film comprises at least one outer layer comprising at least 50 wt % of a polyethylene composition comprising the reaction product of ethylene and optionally, one or more alpha-olefin comonomers, wherein the polyethylene composition is characterized by the following properties: a. a melt index, I, of from 0.3 to 3.0 g/10 min; b. a density of from 0.950 to 0.965 g/cm; c. a melt flow ratio, I/I, of from 6.3 to 7.5; and d. a molecular weight distribution (MWD) of from 2.2 to 3.5, wherein the multilayer film has a thickness of at least 2 mils, wherein the multilayer film comprises at least 50% by weight polyethylene, wherein the multilayer film exhibits a surface haze of 13.5% or less when measured according to ASTM 1003-07, and wherein the multilayer film exhibit a water vapor transmission rate of 0.7 g/mil/100 in/day or less when measured according to ASTM F1249-06 at a temperature of 38° C. and a relative humidity of 100%.
