The invention relates to a battery unit (), particularly for a hybrid and/or electric motor vehicle, comprising a plurality of cells that are physically and/or electrically regrouped into a plurality of modules, a housing receiving and surrounding said cells, and means for regulating the temperature of said cells by circulation of a heat-transfer fluid. Said battery unit () is characterised in that the housing is made of a plastic material and consists of a lower tray (), with a bottom and side walls, and an upper cover (), which are peripherally assembled, and in that at least the tray () comprises means () for distribution/collection and circulation of the heat-transfer fluid, said means being structurally built into the body of said tray (), by being formed at least partially as one piece therewith.

Battery unit with temperature-regulating means built into the housing

A method for forming a hybrid heat exchanger is provided. The method includes laser-texturing a metal surface to create a plurality of microstructures and subsequently melt-bonding a plastic component to the plurality of microstructures. During melt-bonding, plastic material penetrates the plurality of microstructures and conforms to the plastic component to the metal surface. After hardening inside the microstructures, the plastic component adheres to the metal surface as a hybrid component. As a result, a fastener or snap connection is not required, and the plastic-metal joint provides a barrier to water, glycol-based fluids, air, and other fluids.

The invention relates to a battery unit () essentially comprising a plurality of cells, a housing () receiving and surrounding said cells, and means () for regulating the temperature of said cells by circulation of a heat-transfer fluid. The present invention relates to a battery unit () essentially comprising a plurality of cells, a housing () which accommodates and surrounds the cells, and means () for adjusting the temperature of the cells by means of the circulation of heat transfer fluid. The battery unit () is characterised in that the housing () comprises at least one, preferably multiple, area(s) of heat exchange between the cells and the heat transfer fluid, located at least in a bottom region on which the cells rest, said area(s) being incorporated into the structure of the housing (), preferably in the wall of the latter.

Disclosed is an air intake manifold including a heat exchanger built into its body and including at least two ducts for supplying and removing heat-exchange liquid, the ducts extending through the wall of the body of the manifold with a liquid-tight seal and an airtight seal, which are distinct and mutually offset along the longitudinal axis of the relevant duct being created on each of the ducts. The unit creating the liquid tight seal is arranged between the relevant duct and a circulation pipe connected to the free end of the duct. The unit creating the airtight seal is positioned between the relevant duct and the body of the distributor. A leakage path associated with the liquid-tight seal is created between the latter and the airtight seal.

Disclosed is an intake distributor for an internal combustion engine that includes an integrated heat exchanger. This exchanger includes a support plate that ensures its rigid mounting in the distributor and peripheral seal that form an essentially continuous circumferential airtight barrier between the exchanger and the distributor, peripherally dividing the interstitial volume into two. The subdivision plane of the interstitial volume is perpendicular in relation to the plane of the support plate, and the peripheral seal consist of two complementary components that are connected to one another and made integral with the exchanger.
