Provided is an analog to digital converter configured to receive a continuous input signal. The analog to digital converter includes an integrating block, comprising at least an integrating stage, which output is coupled to a flash analog to digital converter. The analog to digital converter apparatus includes a feedback path coupled to the output of said flash analog to digital converter. The feedback path includes at least a digital to analog conversion block which output is compared at least to the input signal to obtain an error signal which is brought as input to said integrating block. A control block is configured to perform control comprising at least a digital integration, is coupled between the output of said flash analog to digital converter and said feedback path.

Analog to digital converter apparatus with time continuous input and corresponding method

A device to read a variable resistor has an analog to digital converter (ADC), a first switch and a second switch. The ADC has a first ADC input, a second ADC input and an ADC output. The first switch selectively couples a first voltage indicative of a voltage across a first resistance to the first ADC input. The second switch selectively couples a second voltage indicative of a voltage across a second resistance to the second ADC input. The ADC outputs a signal indicative of a value of the second resistance.

Resistive-sensor interface

A circuit with Miller compensation effect includes a first stage and a second stage, with a first terminal for receiving a bias current and a second terminal that can be coupled to ground, wherein the first stage includes a differential stage coupled via a coupling line to the second stage. The second stage includes a transistor with a Miller compensation network, which is set between the first terminal of the second stage and the control terminal of the aforesaid transistor. A compensation-control transistor, which is coupled to the second terminal of said differential stage, can be activated for coupling the aforesaid second terminal to ground, the compensation-control transistor having its control terminal coupled to the aforesaid coupling line between the first and second stages.

Miller compensation circuit, and corresponding regulator, system, and method

A track regulator circuit includes an input terminal for receiving an input signal, an output stage with an output terminal for applying an output signal to a load, an error amplifier coupled to the input terminal, and a feedback resistor between the output terminal and the error amplifier for transferring to the error amplifier a feedback signal indicative of the output signal. The error amplifier is configured for driving the output stage as a function of the difference between the input signal and the output signal so that the output signal tracks the input signal. The circuit includes a current generator coupled to the feedback resistor for injecting into the feedback resistor a soft-start current to unbalance the error amplifier, with the intensity of the soft-start current gradually ramping down to zero.
