A Shielding shell for a connector is disclosed which includes a first wall, a second wall and a third wall. The first wall, the second wall and the third wall are arranged mutually at an angle to each other. At least the first wall and the second wall are connected to each other by a first folded edge. The shielding shell further includes a first contact portion connected with the second wall by a second folded edge, the first contact portion being arranged substantially parallel to the third wall and including a plurality of contact segments contacting said third wall.

Cable connector including a connector housing and a cable clamp for clamping a cable to the housing. The cable clamp having an intermediate portion between a first and a second mounting portion. At least one of the two mounting portions of the cable clamp is provided with locking means selectively cooperative with at least two matching locking means, such as slots, of the connector housing to hold the cable clamp in respective different positions corresponding to different cable diameters.

The invention concerns a Cable clamp for a cable connector, the cable clamp being arranged for receiving and capturing a portion of at least one cable extending along an extension direction from the connector. The cable clamp includes a first section and a plurality of second sections which are movably attached or attachable to the first section; the first section includes at least one through-hole extending in the direction of extension, which through-hole is configured for receiving a first portion of at least one cable penetrating through the hole and at least a portion of the second sections is arranged for capturing between them a second portion of the at least one cable penetrating through the hole and extending therefrom.

Cable clamp

The invention relates to a circuit board connector capable of establishing an electrical connection between circuits on a circuit board and a mating electrical connector at a mating side of said circuit board connector. The circuit board connector includes a connector housing accommodating a plurality of terminals for establishing said electrical connection and an electrically conductive shell at least partially enclosing said connector housing. The shell includes a top wall and a rear wall, wherein said rear wall is connected to said top wall and is arranged opposite to said mating side. The shell further has a first and second extension connected to opposite sides of said rear wall and bent with respect to said rear wall to extend towards said mating side. First and second mounting posts are connected, respectively, to said first and second extension and third and fourth mounting posts are connected to said rear wall, wherein said mounting posts are arranged for mounting said shell on said circuit board.

Shell for circuit board connector

The invention relates to a cable connector with a housing including a base extending along a longitudinal axis of the cable connector. The base includes a cable entry portion for accommodating a ferrule system of a cable and a further portion extending from said cable entry portion along said longitudinal axis. The further portion includes one or more mounting structures. The base also includes a housing part with one or more mounting elements adapted to cooperate with said mounting structures to mount the housing part to the base to complete said housing at said further portion. The mounting structures and mounting elements are structured such that said housing part is forced towards said base when said housing part is moved along said longitudinal axis from a mounting position to a mounted position. Accordingly a tight fitting and easily assembled cable connector is obtained.

The invention relates to a cable connector including a housing with a base substantially extending between a front side and a rear side of said connector and a first housing part mountable to said base such that said first housing part and a first portion of said base determine a cable passage configured to accommodate a ferrule arrangement of a cable. The cable passage includes at least one recessed portion configured to receive a corresponding protrusion of said ferrule arrangement or vice versa Accordingly a high density cable connector is obtained with improved cable relief performance.
