Beverage shrinkage monitoring technology is disclosed and is used to reduce beverage shrinkage at bars, clubs, restaurants, and other establishments that dispense beverages. Bottles are topped with wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled liquor/wine nozzles that only pour when handled by appropriate staff members who wear RFID wristbands or bracelets. The wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled liquor/wine nozzles also report sales to a point of sales (POS) system. Beer taps include proprietary wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled beer tap adapters that are mounted to or embedded in the beer taps.

Reducing beverage shrinkage and monitoring beverage dispensing employees to reduce revenue loss

A wine dispensing device including a housing holding a gas cylinder. A stem from the gas cylinder extends to the front of the housing and provides gas to a dispense head mounted on a wine bottle. An arm attached to a routing mechanism at the top of the housing allow manipulation of a router on the dispense head. Manipulation by the routing mechanism in a first action purges the gas within the bottle and replaces it with an inert gas. Manipulation by the routing mechanism in a second action dispenses liquid from the bottle.

Wine dispenser

A refrigerator having a door that includes a liquid dispensing system. A gas cylinder mounted on the refrigerator provides regulated gas flow to ports on the dispensing system. A bottle with a dispense head attached then can have liquid displaced by utilization of a valve component of the dispense head.

Refrigerator door wine dispenser

A fluid dispense head is removably joined to a bottle, such as a wine bottle, or similar container, by having a hollow cylinder extend into the bottle and on one end sealed to a neck of the bottle with an annular gasket and on an opposite end joined to the dispense head. A nut on opposite end of the hollow cylinder limits entry of the cylinder into the bottle. When the nut is turned relative to the cylinder, the gasket seal is broken and the dispense head can be removed from the bottle. A set of annular gaskets of different diameters may be provided for bottles of different neck sizes.
