A portable whole body exercise device is disclosed that utilizes a rigid hollow tube and two elastic cords that may have different tensions. Elastic cord runs lengthwise through the hollow tube, while an additional elastic cord is connected between the open ends of the tube.

A portable whole body exercise device utilizes at least one hollow robe and several cords having different tensions for allowing a user to exercise his or her muscles. The exercise device includes elastic cords extending out of open ends of the hollow tube, and another elastic cord connected between the open ends of the tube.

An exercise device and method for sit-up type exercises. The exerciser's back is maintained in a forwardly curved position with the knees bent and the feet resting on the floor while the exerciser rocks forwardly to stress the abdominal muscles. The device includes a curved support surface on which the exerciser is supported with the back forwardly curved, and includes base structure which allows the support surface to rock back and forth with the exerciser whereby the exerciser's back stays forwardly curved.
