A vehicle seating system for adjusting, without rails, the vertical and longitudinal position and the inclination of a vehicle seat relative to a vehicle floor has, in one embodiment, first and second pivot levers, spaced apart from one another in an adjustment direction. The pivot levers are articulated respectively on the vehicle seat and on the vehicle floor by way of pivot pins extending parallel to one another. The pivot pins arranged on the vehicle seat and on the vehicle floor of at least one of the pivot levers are lockable independently of one another.

A center console assembly for use in a vehicle includes a table capable of being disposed within a center console. A linear drive mechanism is coupled to the table. The linear drive mechanism includes a driver capable of moving the table from a retracted position within the center console to an extracted position outside of the center console.

A tray table for a vehicle seat assembly which has a stowed position within the seat back in which the tray table forms a portion of the seat back seating surface. The tray table is mounted to the frame structure of the seat assembly by a multiple axis pivot mount to rotate first to a generally horizontal position in which it extends forward from the seat back. The pivot mount enables the tray table to then rotate about an upright axis to swing the tray table laterally toward an adjacent seat assembly. The pivot mount is located along one side edge of the tray table such that the tray table is cantilever supported to the seat back.

A seating/storage system includes a seat which is rotatably supported on opposite ends between the sidewalls of a vehicle on a pivot axle in spaced relationship above the floor level of the vehicle. The seat pivot axle, in turn, is mounted to a rotating member offset from the pivot axle such that, when rotated to a seating position, the seat is positioned above the floor level and, when rotated to a storage position, the seat is positioned in a recess with the lower side of the seat defining the floor of the vehicle. A releasable latching member extends between the rotatable member and the vehicle seat to selectively lock the seat in use or stored positions. In a preferred embodiment, a releasable latch also extends between a fixed seat frame and the rotatable member to selectively lock the seat back and seat in use or stored positions.
