Gear motion of gearboxes can be calculated. A system includes a gear box, a sensor, and at least one data processor. The gear box includes a structure with a plurality of gears. The sensor is operatively coupled to the gear box and is configured to detect an operational parameter associated with a first gear of the gear box. The at least one data processor is configured to: receive, from the sensor, data characterizing the detected operational parameter associated with the gear box; generate a mesh pair matrix for the plurality of gears based on data characterizing the structure of the gear box; determine, from the mesh pair matrix, a calculated value of the operational parameter of the first gear of the plurality of gears; determine, based on the calculated value and the detected value of the operational parameter, an operational metric of the first gear; and provide the operational metric.

Gearbox monitoring

A system includes components in an industrial environment that include an asset and a monitoring device that monitors the asset. The system also includes processors communicatively coupled to each component. The processors receive a dataset associated with each component that includes a data point associated with a respective component, a measurement associated with the data point, and an alarm status associated with the respective component. The processors also generate a first list of the components in a first portion of a graphical user interface. The processors further receive a selection of a first component. The processors also generate a second list of the data point associated with the first component, the measurement associated with the data point, and the alarm status associated with the first component, in a second portion of the graphical user interface.

Systems and methods for prioritizing and monitoring device status in a condition monitoring software application

Systems and methods include manipulating multiple data plots. The multiple data plots each have horizontal and vertical dimensions and include active and inactive zoom plots. After determining whether the inactive zoom plot is to be synchronized with the active zoom plot in the horizontal or vertical dimension when zooming the active zoom plot and an indication that the active zoom plot is to be zoomed to an active zoom area, an active area zoom is performed based on the indication using a zoom start point and a zoom end point in the horizontal or vertical dimension. A corresponding inactive zoom plot is zoomed by rescaled in the horizontal or vertical dimension by converting the zoom start and end points to corresponding inactive zoom start and end points in the inactive zoom plot using a preset transfer function if the inactive zoom plot is to be synchronized.
