The present disclosure is directed to a support block assembly including a strut and an overmolded support block. The strut may include a base, and the support block may include an anchor coupled to the strut. The anchor includes a tang with the support block overmolded on the tang with the tang extending into and encased within the support block forming a bond between the tang and the support block. In an embodiment, the base may define at least one opening. The support block is overmolded on the strut such that the support block extends through at least one opening to form the bond between the strut and the support block. The strut may include a lower side defining a dovetail-shaped groove with the support block overmolded on the strut and extending into the dovetail-shaped groove to form a bond between the strut and the support block.

Support block assembly

A clamp assembly for securing a conduit to a strut, the clamp assembly includes a pair of brackets, each bracket having a head section and a tail section. The respective tail sections of the pair of brackets being configured to be received within the strut and the pair of brackets having respective apertures formed in the respective head sections thereof. A bolt has a shank that is configured to be received within the respective apertures of the pair of brackets. A nut has a bore therein, the bore is configured to receive the shank of the bolt. Each of the respective apertures includes a pair of opposite, rounded surfaces spaced from each other and connected by a pair of opposite, elongated surfaces.

Clamp assembly and method for securing a clamp assembly to a strut

A splice couples together abutting barrier strips for a cable tray. The splice generally includes a base wall. Opposing sidewalls extend outward from opposite sides of the base wall. The opposing side walls and the base wall together define an open interior of the splice configured to receive the abutting barrier strips therein. A window may extend through the base wall to the open interior to allow the abutting barrier strips to be visible therethrough when the abutting barrier strips are received in the open interior of the splice. A grip may be on the opposing side walls to enhance gripping of the splice. At least one of the sidewalls may have a chamfered corner to enhance entry of the barrier strips into the open interior.

A wireway connector for a wireway section having an open longitudinal end and a plurality of sidewalls includes a connector body having a plurality of side panels. The wireway connector is configured to be attached to an open longitudinal end of a wireway section. A snap-fit component is on at least one of the side panels. The snap-fit component is configured to mateably connect to a snap-fit component on one of the sidewalls of the wireway section as the connector body is attached to the open longitudinal end of the wireway section to connect the wireway connector to the wireway section.

A seismic clamp for securing a utility pipe to a rigid rod includes a pipe holder that secures the utility pipe to the seismic clamp. A rod fitting secures the rigid rod to the seismic clamp so that the rigid rod extends transverse to the utility pipe. A spacer is disposed between the holder and the rod fitting. The spacer inhibits the rigid rod from contacting the utility pipe when the utility pipe is secured to the seismic clamp, and the rigid rod is secured to the seismic clamp.

A concrete insert for metal deck formed concrete includes an elongate, generally planar body having opposite upper and lower faces, and opposite first and second longitudinal ends. A rod opening is located between the first and second longitudinal ends and extends through the upper and lower faces of the elongate, generally planar body. A female screw thread extends at least partially about a perimeter of the rod opening and protrudes at least one of above the upper face and below the lower face. The female screw thread is configured to threadably mate with a male thread of a threaded rod.
