Embodiments of systems, methods, and apparatuses for heterogeneous computing are described. In some embodiments, a hardware heterogeneous scheduler dispatches instructions for execution on one or more plurality of heterogeneous processing elements, the instructions corresponding to a code fragment to be processed by the one or more of the plurality of heterogeneous processing elements, wherein the instructions are native instructions to at least one of the one or more of the plurality of heterogeneous processing elements.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for heterogeneous computing

Automated systems and methods for deployment of mounting tubs that support photovoltaic modules are provided in which a feeder assembly includes a screw thread assembly and a pivot arm. The screw thread assembly has at least one rotatable threaded component, and two such components in exemplary embodiments, positioned within the feeder assembly. The rotatable threaded component supports the stack of mounting tubs and rotates to separate the individual mounting tub from the stack of mounting tubs and lower the individual mounting tub onto the pivot arm. The pivot arm is configured to interact with an individual mounting tub and pivots to dispense the individual mounting tub onto a mounting surface. A sensor may be provided to detect the positions of the individual mounting tubs as they are moved, and a control system communicates with the sensor and the feeder assembly. The feeder assembly and a hopper holding the stack of mounting tubs may be mounted on an autonomous cart.

Systems and methods of automated deployment of mounting devices for photovoltaic modules for solar plant installation

Photovoltaic module feeder assemblies, systems and methods are provided which comprise two rotatable arms, a grabber bar, and at least two gripping pieces. Each arm has a proximal end and a distal end and a plurality of articulation points. The grabber bar is coupled to the distal end of each rotatable arm, and the gripping pieces are connected to each grabber bar. When the rotatable arms rotate to position the grabber bars in alignment with a photovoltaic module, the gripping pieces activate and grip or support the photovoltaic module. The rotatable arms maintain the short sides of the photovoltaic module in a horizontal position by utilizing one or more of the plurality of articulation points. The photovoltaic module feeder assembly may be coupled to a mobile unit having a conveyor and guide rails for moving and holding a pallet of photovoltaic modules. Disclosed methods may be controlled by software that can determine a just-in-time installation schedule.

Systems and methods for automated installation of photovoltaic modules and solar plants

A processor may include a gather-update-scatter accelerator, and an allocator comprising circuitry to direct an instruction to the accelerator for execution. The instruction may include a search index, an operation to be performed, and a scalar data value. The accelerator may include a content-addressable memory (CAM) storing multiple entries, each of which stores a respective index key and a data value associated with the index key. The accelerator may include a CAM controller, which includes circuitry. The CAM controller may be configured to select, based on the information in the instruction, one of the plurality of entries in the CAM on which to operate. The CAM controller may be configured to perform an arithmetic or logical operation on the selected entry dependent on the information in the instruction. The CAM controller may be configured to store a result of the operation in the selected entry in the CAM.

A system implements dishonest policies for managing unauthorized access requests. The system includes memory management hardware to store a set of dishonest policy bits, each dishonest policy bit that is configured to a predetermined value indicating disallowed access for one of a set of memory ranges. When a processor receives an access request for a location in a memory range to which access is not allowed as indicated by a set dishonest policy bit, the processor returns a false indication according to a dishonest policy that the requested access has been performed.

Method and apparatus for dishonest hardware policies

Systems and methods for the automated installation of solar (photovoltaic or PV) modules is disclosed. Embodiments comprise a conveyor system configured to support and deliver a plurality of photovoltaic modules, and a clampless mounting framework comprising an upper rail and a lower rail, the upper and lower rails configured and spaced apart to receive and secure a photovoltaic module. The mounting framework does not require clamps, so once the modules are delivered into place, physical installation is complete.

Systems and methods of installing photovoltaic modules

A multiprocessor system having shared memory uses guarded pointers to identify protected segments of memory and permitted access to a location specified by the guarded pointer. Modification of pointers is restricted by the hardware system to limit access to memory segments and to limit operations which can be performed within the memory segments. Global address translation is based on grouping of pages which may be stored across multiple nodes. The page groups are identified in the global translation of each node and, with the virtual address, identify a node in which data is stored. Pages are subdivided into blocks and block status flags are stored for each page. The block status flags indicate whether a memory location may be read or written into at a particular node and indicate to a home node whether a remote node has written new data into a location.
