The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods that efficiently and effectively generate and utilize collections of content items. For example, systems and methods described herein generate a collection content item including one or more content item references. In one or more embodiments, the collection content item can include content item references for content items located internally or externally, with granular levels of permissions settings and version controls. Additionally, in response to a detected selection of a content item reference, systems and methods described herein generate a rendering of the associated content item that can be viewed regardless of any third party software installed on the viewing client computing device.

Systems and methods for web page tab management are provided. A method for web page tab management includes determining a web browser tab group to open, in its own window of a web browser executed by a computing device, based on a location of the computing device. The determined tab group includes a plurality of tabs assigned to the browser window and corresponding to a plurality of open web pages associated with the location. The method further includes the computing device automatically opening the determined tab group in the web browser window. A system for web page tab management includes a tab group determiner and a tab group manager.

Methods and systems for accelerated scrolling and zooming of content. A method may include receiving an indication of a scroll action. The scroll action indicates a direction to scroll and a user's intent to scroll a significant distance. The method further includes evaluating the direction and a length of the scroll action. The method still further includes providing a scroll widget, for example by an operating to an application. The widget is to be presented relative to a location of where the indication was received. The scroll widget then allows a user to jump to a top or an end of a content displayed at the location.

Methods and apparatus for displaying information content in a user interface. The content includes an information panel that contains at least one information element. Information indicating a position within the user interface is used to automatically determine whether to display the information panel in its expanded or collapsed state. The title of the information panel is displayed. The title of the information element is displayed beneath the information panel title when the information panel is displayed in its expanded state. The title of the information element is not displayed when the information panel is displayed in its collapsed state.

The system may also include a task profiler.

Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media for displaying a clipboard. A method can include receiving at a client device, two or more copied pieces of content copied from one or more resources, receiving an indication to display the two or more copied pieces of content, determining a form field associated with the indication, ranking the two or more copied pieces of content based on the form field, and displaying at the client device, a clipboard with the two or more copied pieces of content ranked.

Methods and systems for processing and displaying content are disclosed. An example method of operation may include initializing two or more windows on a mobile device, and displaying a first window of the two or more windows on the mobile device. The method may also include receiving an on-screen switcher indication causing a display view change from the first window being displayed to a combination of the first window and at least one more additional windows being displayed. The method may also include determining a space amount for each of the two or more windows, adjusting a size of each of the two or more windows based on the space amount. The method may further include displaying a frame around each of the two or more windows with the respective adjusted size, and displaying each frame overlaid on top of one another.

In one aspect, a method includes receiving an audio signal at a server, performing, by the server, speech recognition on the audio signal to identify one or more candidate terms that match one or more portions of the audio signal, identifying one or more possible intended actions for each candidate term, providing information for display on a client device, the information specifying the candidate terms and the actions for each candidate term, receiving from the client device an indication of an action selected by a user, where the action was selected from among the actions included in the provided information, and invoking the action selected by the user.

Methods and systems for resizing a display area of a display device are disclosed. An example method may include receiving an on-screen pinch gesture associated with a first location and a second location, the second location being different from the first location on a multi-touch input device. The method may also include for each of a plurality of predefined content areas: adjusting a respective size of each predefined content area based on the on-screen pinch gesture, determining a respective amount of the content to display in the predefined content area based on the respective adjusted size of the predefined content area, and displaying the respective adjusted amount of content within the respective predefined content area associated with the adjusted size on the multi-touch input device.
