An ergonomic adapter for an aerosol spray can. The ergonomic adapter has an elastomeric collar that fits around a body of an aerosol spray paint can such that a front portion of the collar is facing in front of the can just below the interface between the body and the domed top of the spray can. The front of the adapter includes a compartment that houses a polychromatic light source for lighting the surface and/or a light beam arrangement for targeting and positioning the spray can with respect to the surface.

An ergonomic adapter for an aerosol spray can helps to reduce finger pain and hand fatigue. The ergonomic adapter has a collar that fits around a body of an aerosol spray paint can such that a front portion of the collar is facing in front of the can just below the interface between the body and the domed top of the spray can. An arcuate finger strip extends upward from the rear side of the collar and over the push-button nozzle on the spray can when the adapter is fitted onto the body of the spray can. The collar and the arcuate finger strip are made of a resilient, flexible material such as butyl rubber. The arcuate finger strip preferably has a concave upper surface. The collar has enlarged traction pads positioned to facilitate gripping by the user. When the user grips the ergonomic adapter, the user's index finger rests in the concave, arcuate finger strip. When the user presses down on the finger strip, the push-button nozzle is actuated to expel spray paint, but the pressure from the nozzle is distributed and cushioned so that it does not cause as much pain or stress in the user's index finger. In one embodiment, the front of the adapter includes a compartment that houses a polychromatic light source for lighting the surface and/or a laser guide for targeting and positioning the spray can with respect to the surface.

An apparatus is provided for pressing a food item into a plurality of sliced configurations. The apparatus may include a top handle device, a bottom handle device, a wheel or basket and a plunger. The top handle device may be connected to the wheel so that the top handle device rotates with respect to the wheel. The plunger may be fixed to the top handle device. The wheel may be fixed to the bottom handle device. The wheel may have a plurality of sections into which a portion of the plunger can be inserted in order to press a food item into a sliced configuration.

A limited use apparatus for treating contact lenses is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a case having a body and a left and right cover which are joinable to form chambers for receiving the lenses. Each of the chambers has an operative face for receiving the lens. A reactive layer is provided on a portion of each operative face. The operative faces and the reactive layers are dimensioned and arranged whereby the reactive layers come into engagement with respective optical surfaces of a lens positioned there-between when the cover and body are joined together.

A thermal pack for applying thermal therapy to a human body part includes a flexible body that defines a cavity holding a thermal medium. A skeletal structure supports the flexible body. The skeletal structure is malleable such that it can be deformed around and held adjacent the human body part. The skeletal structure may be disposed within the cavity of the flexible body without being attached thereto and/or secured to an interior surface (and/or exterior surface) of the flexible body. The skeletal structure preferably includes a plurality of elongate leg portions that are wrapped around the human body part to hold the flexible body in place adjacent the treatment area during use. The thermal pack can be adapted for use with other mammalians.

A multiple position air mattress system for achieving various support positions includes a first mattress, a second mattress, and a bellows unit attached to the second mattress. The bellows unit is extendable for either elevating the second mattress or providing a support for an individual. A pump unit is adapted to be fluidly connected to and for providing pressurized air to the first mattress, the second mattress and the bellows unit. The multiple position air mattress can assume a prone bed position with the mattresses longitudinally adjacent each other and the bellows unit deflated, a recessed lounge position with the mattresses longitudinally adjacent each other and the bellows unit inflated and atop the second mattress, an adjustable lounge position with the mattresses longitudinally adjacent each other and the bellows unit inflated under the second mattress, and a chair position with the first mattress under the second mattress, and the mattresses and bellows unit inflated.
