A vertical tubular defines a measurement chamber. A first valve is nearer an upper end of the vertical tubular than a lower end of the vertical tubular. The first valve defines a first actuable passage fluidically connected to the measuring chamber. A second is valve nearer the lower end of the vertical tubular than the upper end of the vertical tubular. The second valve defines a second actuable passage fluidically connected to the measuring chamber. A third valve is vertically aligned with the first valve. The third valve is on an opposite side of the vertical tubular from the first valve. The third valve defines a third actuable passage fluidically connected to the measuring chamber. The fourth valve defines a fourth actuable passage fluidically connected to the measuring chamber. A flange is each end of the vertical tubular.

Measuring levels of volatile fluids

A system and method perform automatic switching of multiple vendor controllers with an interfaced input/output device. The method comprises storing parameters in a memory, wherein the parameters specify each type of instrument controller in a respective one of a plurality of vendor classes, and automatically switching a signal between an instrument and at least one of a first instrument controller of a first vendor class and a second instrument controller of a second vendor class using the parameters, wherein the first vendor class and the second vendor class are different. The system and an automatic input/output switch controller implement the method.

System and method for the automatic switching of multiple vendor controllers with an interfaced input/output device

A pump control system for a wet test meter (WTM) is disclosed. The pump control system includes a WTM that contains packing fluid, a control module that has a DC power supply and is configured to detect a level of the packing fluid in the WTM, a pump that is configured to be controlled by the control module and is activated when the packing fluid in the WTM falls below a predetermined level, and a level sensor/detector that is located outside of the WTM, wired to the control module, and configured to monitor the packing fluid level within the WTM. When the packing fluid falls below the predetermined level as detected by the control module, the WTM is automatically filled by pumping packing fluid from a storage tank using the pump, until the packing fluid level reaches above the predetermined level.
