A method of preparing a gypsum-based product comprises the steps of mixing calcined gypsum with polymer particles and water to provide a slurry. The polymer particles comprise principally polyvinyl acetate, and have a particle size distribution, measured using laser diffractometry, such that particles having a diameter of 4.5 μm or less provide at least 90% of the total particle volume.

Method of preparing a gypsum-based product

A partition, mounted on a mounting surface, comprises a plurality of elongate upright members, a first board and a second board. The first board is mounted on one side of a pair of the elongate upright members that are adjacent to each other, and the second board is mounted on the other side of the same pair of adjacent elongate upright members, so as to provide a cavity between the pair of elongate upright members and the first and second boards. The partition further comprises a spacer that is located within the cavity, the maximum dimension of the spacer in the through-thickness direction of the partition being at least 90% of the separation of the two boards. The spacer may help to reduce the extent of inward bowing of the boards between adjacent elongate upright members, so that, for example, the upright members may be spaced further apart.

A panel has a gypsum matrix, in which the following additives are embedded: glass fibre in an amount greater than 1 wt % relative to the gypsum and a synthetic polymeric binder in an amount greater than 2.5 wt % relative to the gypsum. The glass fibre and synthetic polymeric binder are present in a weight ratio of at least 2 parts binder to one part fibre. The amount of sand present in the gypsum matrix lies in the range 0-0.5 wt % relative to the gypsum. The amount of cellulosic fibre present in the gypsum matrix lies in the range 0-2 wt % relative to the gypsum.

A plasterboard comprising a gypsum matrix having wood particles embedded therein in an amount of at least 2 wt % relative to the gypsum, the gypsum matrix further comprising glass fibres in an amount of at least 1 wt % relative to the gypsum.

A plasterboard comprises a gypsum matrix having a polymeric additive distributed therein in an amount of at least 1 wt % relative to the gypsum, the gypsum matrix further having a first group of fibres and a second group of fibres embedded therein, wherein the fibres of the first group of fibres have an average length that is at least three times the average length of the fibres of the second group of fibres.

The present invention relates to the use of a therapeutically effective amount of cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) in the treatment of epilepsy. In one embodiment the CBDA is used in the treatment of generalised seizures, preferably tonic-clonic seizures. Preferably the CBDA used is in the form of a botanical drug substance in which the CBDA content is greater than 60%, and most preferably, it is a highly purified extract ofsuch that the CBDA is present at greater than 95%, through 96% and 97% to most preferably, greater than 98% of the total extract (w/w) and the other components of the extract are characterised. In particular the cannabinoids tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or tetrahydrocannabinol acid (THCA) have been substantially removed. Alternatively, the CBDA may be synthetically produced.

Use of cannabinoids in the treatment of epilepsy

Two devices (e.g., two wireless Bluetooth earbuds) may exchange device address information (e.g., Bluetooth address information) and may identify a primary address. When either of the devices connect to a source device (e.g., a phone), the primary address may be used by the connecting device such that the pair of devices appear as a single device (e.g., a Bluetooth-pairable device) to the source device, regardless of the device connecting to the source device as the primary device. The primary device may then send identity information (e.g., that has been exchanged with the secondary device) to the source device, such that the source device may connect to either of the two devices. Further, once a primary device connects to the source device, the primary device may transmit, to the secondary device, connection information such that the secondary device may connect to the source device and operate in the primary role.

A nickel-base superalloy includes essentially, by weight: 14.75 to 26.5 percent cobalt, 4.1 to 4.65 percent aluminium, 1.1 to 1.9 percent titanium, 3.85 to 6.3 percent tantalum, 1.2 to 2.55 percent niobium, up to 0.07 percent boron, up to 0.06 percent carbon, up to 14.0 percent chromium, up to 1.0 percent iron, up to 1.0 percent manganese, up to 4.2 percent molybdenum, up to 0.5 percent silicon, up to 4.9 percent tungsten, and up to 0.1 percent zirconium, the balance being nickel and incidental impurities; wherein the overall concentration in the alloy of aluminium, titanium, tantalum, and niobium is from 13 to 14 atomic percent and the atomic ratio of aluminium to titanium is from 4.625:1 to 6.333:1.

Nickel-base superalloy

A nickel-base alloy of, in atomic percent unless otherwise stated, up to 8 percent Fe, up to 16 percent Co, between 15 and 25 percent Cr, up to 3 percent Mo, up to 2 percent W, between 3 and 5 percent Al, between 3 and 7.5 percent Nb, up to 3 percent Ta, up to 0.2 percent Ti, up to 0.5 percent C, up to 0.175 percent B, up to 0.07 percent Zr, up to 1 percent Mn, up to 1 percent Si, up to 0.2 percent Hf, the balance of Ni and incidental impurities, wherein the atomic ratio of Al to Nb is between 0.4 and 1.7, the atomic ratio of the sum of Al and Ti to Nb is between 0.4 and 1.8, and, the composition including at least 10 percent of elements from the group of Al, Nb, and Ti.

Ni-base alloy for structural applications

A nickel-base alloy having the following composition (in atomic percent unless otherwise stated): between 12 and 15% of elements from the group consisting of Al, Ti, Ta and Nb, between 12.5% and 17.5% Cr, between 22 and 29% Co, between 0 and 1.5% W, between 0 and 3% Mo, between 0.1 and 0.3% C, between 0.05 and 0.2% B, between 0.02 and 0.07% Zr and, optionally, up to 2% Fe, up to 1% Mn, up to 1% Si, and up to 0.05 Mg; the balance being Ni and incidental impurities. The alloy has an improved combination of properties (principally improved resistance to high temperature deformation and surface environmental damage) compared with known alloys, and is intended to operate for prolonged periods of time above 700&#xb0; C., and up to peak temperatures of 800&#xb0; C.

Nickel alloy

A method of determining the proximity of a first device to a second device, the method comprising, at the second device: receiving a first packet having a first payload and a first lifetime value, the first lifetime value being such so as to cause a device receiving the first packet to not retransmit the first payload; and generating, in dependence on the first packet, a second packet having a second payload and a second lifetime value, the second payload being indicative of the proximity of the first device to the second device and the second lifetime value being such as to cause a device receiving the second packet to retransmit the second payload.

Device proximity

A method for providing an update package to a node in a mesh network comprising a set of nodes and a gateway node arranged to provide access to an update server via a second network. The gateway node collects package information from each set node, including a first node. Each package identifies a respective node and its package version. The gateway node may query the update server based on the package information. The update server may respond to the gateway node with an updated package for the first node. The gateway node broadcasts the updated package into the mesh network as a sequence of mesh messages. Each of a first plurality of nodes of the set may forward the mesh messages to other nodes. The first node stores the mesh messages so as the sequence of mesh messages is received, assemble the updated package.
