A spring-biased pivoting squeegeeprovides a headpivotally attached to a handle. The headis movable between a rest position, in which the headis angularly displaced from the handle, and a biased position in which the head, handle, and wiping bladeare in linear relation. In the biased position, the wiping blade is maintained at an optimum angle for cleaning a glass surface even with the handleheld generally perpendicular to the glass. A springis fully contained in the headand biases the head toward the rest position. A tension adjustment knobin the headpermits adjustment of the springto a tension level according to the ergonomic requirements of a user. In a second embodiment of the invention an improved locking mechanism comprises a pivoting lock leverheld against the top wallof a recessin the headof the squeegee by a retainer. The lockis movable between locked and released positions. In the locked position stop surfaceson the lock lever abut with upward facing ledgesof side plateson the forward portion of the main handle bodyto lock the headin the biased position. Two springshave forward projectionswhich rest in downwardly biased engagement on a spring pull nut. The spring pull nutis adjustable by turning an adjustment knobto modify the tension on the springs. Slip-resistant surfaces on the handleand headimproved handling of the squeegee.

A modular individual lighting arrangement for sports activities, such as mountain biking, is described. Such modular unit includes a light bulb housing having an exterior configuration to interact with a second housing by attaching such housings together. An intermediary receiver is included having a pair of spring fingers which are spaced apart an appropriate distance to interact both with a complementary set of apertures on a single housing and with corresponding apertures in two housings.

Modular individual lighting arrangement for sports activities

A bracket and module for a portable personal computer. In one embodiment, the module contains a transmitter and a receiver, or transceiver, for allowing for communications between the portable personal computer and other stations in the network. The bracket may be mounted permanently to the bottom of the portable personal computer if desired, with very little effect on the overall shape or performance of the computer. The module may easily be attached and detached from the bracket. The module contains a handle such that when the module is latched in the bracket, the handle can be used to carry the personal computer. Also included is a door holder to hold open the door of the portable personal computer to expose a connector on the computer which mates with a connector coupled to the module.
