A circuit system includes a circuit board including a plurality of integrated circuit (IC) chips. The circuit board is configured to be immersed in a two-phase cooling fluid. The circuit system includes a controller. The controller is configured to, in a control process: obtain temperature data indicative of respective internal temperatures of the plurality of IC chips, predict respective future internal temperatures of the plurality of IC chips based on the respective internal temperatures, and adjust clock frequencies and power supply voltages of the plurality of the IC chips such that the predicted respective future internal temperatures are within a target temperature range. A clock frequency of a first IC chip of the plurality of IC chips is adjusted to be different from a clock frequency of a second IC chip of the plurality of IC chips.

Temperature ramp control for integrated circuit chips

A first firmware source code portion corresponding to an immutable firmware portion of specific firmware to be deployed with embedded devices is identified. A second different firmware source code portion corresponding to a mutable firmware portion of the specific firmware to be deployed with the embedded devices is identified. The first firmware source code portion is used to generate the immutable firmware portion of the specific firmware. The second firmware source code portion is used to generate the mutable firmware portion of the specific firmware. The immutable firmware portion of the specific firmware is caused to be installed in fixed storage drives of an embedded device in the embedded devices. The mutable firmware portion of the specific firmware is caused to be installed in swappable storage drives of the same embedded device.

Separate firmware to fixed and removable storages

In an example method, a system accesses sensor data representing a temperature of one or more computer chips of a computer system configured to perform a cryptographic operation, and determines that the temperature has exceeded a threshold temperature. In response, the system dynamically adjusts a target computing performance of the one or more computer chips. Dynamically adjusting the target computing performance includes decreasing the target computing performance of the one or more computer chips by a first level; subsequent to decreasing the target computing performance of the one or more computer chips by the first level, determining that the temperature is less than the threshold temperature; and responsive to determining that the temperature is less than the threshold temperature, incrementally increasing the target computing performance of the one or more computer chips by a second level, where the first level is greater than the second level.
