A method of operating a laundry treating appliance with a combination washer/dryer having a cabinet defining an interior, a tub located within the interior, and a rotatable drum located within the tub interior and defining a treating chamber, and an air recirculation conduit, the method comprising supplying water to the treating chamber, rotating the drum, and draining the water from the laundry treating appliance.

A fluid condensing system for a combination washer/dryer appliance includes a metal condenser coil positioned within a condenser. Water liquid pulses through the metal condenser coil for maintaining the metal condenser coil at a cold temperature as water vapor in the hot exhaust air from the combination washer/dryer appliance condenses on the surface of the condenser coil. A common sump collects the water condensate from the condenser, the cooling fluid exiting the condenser coil, and wash water from the combination washer/dryer appliance. The water condensate, cooling fluid, and wash water is reclaimed and recycled through both a condenser coil recirculation loop and a wash water dispenser system.

An impeller with vanes extending above the upper surface of the impeller base plate along with a sweeper which extends beyond an outer periphery of the base plate. The sweeper pulls clothes from the basket that may have become stuck or lodged in a wet state back in toward the center of the impeller and in turn pushes them up by the impeller vane design.

A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry according to an automatic cycle of operation, comprising a basket defining a treating chamber for receiving laundry to be washed. The basket has multiple perforations through which liquid may pass. A blade can be rotated about the exterior of the basket creating a suction force acting on the perforations to draw liquid from the treating chamber through the perforations.
