A beauty care product comprising a sealable plastic container, a sealing means and a beauty care component is provided, wherein the container of which is resistant to random, uncontrolled deformation under a substantial pressure differential between the environment and inside the container, yet having an affordable cost of manufacture and/or being appealing to the consumer. A kit comprising said product thereof, a method of manufacturing said product, and a method of using said product for application onto skin and/or hair are also provided.

Beauty care product

Packages for containing and dispensing consumer products comprise a push-pull closure connected to a bottle and having a dispensing opening covered by a slit valve. The combination of a push-pull closure and a slit valve results in a package that easily dispenses a liquid consumer product, while guarding against leakage of the consumer product from the package, especially during transportation and storage of the product, particularly when the package is a tottle package. The push-pull closure of the present package is simple to open and can also be easily closed with the use of only one hand, especially by pressing the closure against a flat surface, such as a shower wall or shelf.

Disclosed are anhydrous aerosol package compositions which comprise (a) a Lewis acid having a pKa of less than about 5.0; (b) from about 5% to about 95% by weight of a fluorinated hydrocarbon propellant; (c) a hydrogen bonded water source; and (d) a rust inhibition means. The aerosol package compositions are preferably anhydrous aerosol antiperspirants which comprise an antiperspirant active, a fluorinated hydrocarbon propellant such as 1,1-difluroethane, and a rust inhibition means, wherein the antiperspirant active acts as a Lewis acid and contains hydrogen bonded water. It was found that aerosol package compositions containing fluorinated hydrocarbons, a strong Lewis acid, and a hydrogen bonded water source are surprisingly susceptible to corrosion or rust formation of any metal surface within the package, unless a known or otherwise effective rust inhibition means is added to or used in association with the packaged aerosol composition.
