Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for Uplink Control Information (UCI) design. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, a matrix comprising a set of non-zero linear combination coefficients for quantizing a channel between the terminal device and a network device, the matrix having spatial components and frequency components; shifting the frequency components of the matrix circularly, such that a target coefficient of the set of non-zero linear combination coefficients is located in a frequency component with a predetermined index of the frequency components in a shifted matrix; generating a first indication indicating the spatial component associated with the target coefficient in the matrix; and transmitting, to the network device, uplink control information comprising the first indication. In this way, a new solution for designing the UCI may reduce the overhead for reporting the parameters in the UCI.

A method may include determining, an event which triggers a power headroom report to report a headroom between a current user equipment transmission power and a nominal power. The determination may depend at least partially on a configuration of frequency domain spectrum shaping. The method may also include generating a power headroom report based on the event. The method may further include transmitting the power headroom report to a network element.

Starting random access channel occasion determination for multiple PRACH transmissions for wireless networks

According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus, such as a user equipment, including at least one processing core, at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code being configured to, with the at least one processing core, cause the apparatus at least to initiate a random access process with a network by transmitting an initial random access message to the network, receive a random access response from the network, the random access response including a timing advance command bit sequence, determine from the timing advance command bit sequence a timing advance value and a configuration parameter, and transmit a request message to the network at least once in compliance with the configuration parameter.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for Random Access Channel (RACH) occasion (RO) dropping. In a method, a device determines a set of valid random access channel occasions (ROs) for a physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission with preamble repetitions. The device determines that the PRACH transmission is to be dropped in at least one RO of the set of valid ROs. The device determines one or more ROs of the set of valid ROs for calculation of a random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI), the one or more ROs for calculation of the RA-RNTI are not conditioned to whether the corresponding PRACH transmission over the one or more ROs is to be dropped. Then the device calculates the RA-RNTI based on the determined one or more ROs of the set of valid ROs.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to, apparatuses methods and computer readable medium for Message 3 enhancement. In a method, a first apparatus transmits, to a second apparatus, a random access request in at least one of a non-subband non-overlapping full duplex (non-SBFD) resource or a subband non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD) resource. The first apparatus receives, from the second apparatus, information indicating a part of at least one of the SBFD resource or the non-SBFD resource, wherein the part of the at least one of the SBFD resource or the non-SBFD resource is to be used for an additional Message 3 transmission. The first apparatus performs the additional Message 3 transmission to the second apparatus in the part of the at least one of the SBFD resource or the non-SBFD resource.

Where large transport blocks are rate-matched and transmitted on each PUSCH segment using different redundancy versions (RVs), RV cycling with a small number of PUSCH segments might not cover the whole codeword, and/or rate-matching a large TBS across many PUSCH segments into the resource of a single PUSCH segment may lead to an effective coding rate of the self-decodable redundancy versions that is too high. To avoid these issues, the starting position of one or more RVs may be shifted by setting the starting position of a current RV to be the same as an ending position of a previous position, or by scaling the starting position by a value. Alternatively, these issues may be avoided by setting a new starting position for an RV based on the gap from the end of a previous RV to the start of a current RV.

Method of shifting redundancy version for the transmission of a transport block over multiple slots

Techniques are provided for facilitating channel estimation to mitigate cross-link interference between a base station in a first cell and at least one neighbor base station. In the context of a method performed by the base station, an indication for assistance information to support channel estimation is provided from the base station to at least one neighbor base station. The method also includes receiving assistance information from at least one neighbor base station. The method further includes causing a time-frequency muting pattern to be signaled to at least one user equipment in a first cell. The method also includes estimating an interference covariance matrix from an interfering link of the at least one neighbor base station based at least in part on the assistance information and estimating the desired signal based on the interference covariance matrix. Corresponding method, apparatus and computer-readable storage mediums are also provided for a base station.
