A high pressure pump of a common rail pump system includes a pump body having a cylinder with a piston bore and a piston reciprocally driven in the piston bore to pressurize fuel in the cylinder. The piston has an inner end located in the piston bore and an outer end outside the piston bore. A bellow having a first opening and a second opening is arranged between the piston and the pump body, wherein the piston extends through the first and second openings, wherein the bellow is connected to the pump body such that the first opening is sealed on the pump body and wherein the bellow is connected to the outer end of the piston such that the second opening is sealed on the piston. This arrangement prevents mixing of engine oil and fuel. The bellow may be connected to a drainage line via a one-way valve.

High pressure pump

A high pressure pump for delivering a fluid includes a pump housing with a longitudinal axis and a housing cavity, a piston partly arranged in the housing cavity and axially moveable within the housing cavity and having an axial end directed opposite a driving side of the high pressure pump, and a sealing unit having a sealing body arranged radially outside of the piston such that a first part of the housing cavity is sealed fluid-tight against a second part of the housing cavity. The sealing body includes a neck with an inner diameter smaller than a first diameter of a part of the piston arranged between the sealing body neck and the axial end of the piston. The piston has a second diameter in an axial area in which the sealing body neck is arranged, which second diameter is smaller than the first diameter.

A plug-in pump includes a cylinder and a pump housing, wherein the cylinder has a cavity in which a movable piston is accommodated, wherein a first end of the piston delimits a pump chamber, and a second end of the piston is connected to a drive device for the piston. An inlet valve is arranged in the cylinder, which inlet valve connects the pump chamber to a feed line for a first fluid, and an outlet valve connects the pump chamber to an outlet. The pump housing has a cavity that forms a first chamber connected to a feed line for the first fluid, and at least one second chamber which is separated from the first chamber and which is connected to a fluid system of a second fluid. The first chamber is fluidically sealed off with respect to the second chamber.

Plug-in pump

A roller tappet includes a roller and a roller shoe in which the roller is rotatably mounted. The roller shoe has a first lateral surface with a recess for receiving the roller, a second lateral surface opposite the first lateral surface, and a third lateral surface between the first and second lateral surfaces. The third lateral surface and at least part of the second lateral surface are each curved.

A plug-in pump for a common-rail system has a pump housing having a cylinder formed therein and a piston guided in the cylinder, a fuel inlet, and a fuel outlet. The pump housing also includes a plug-in section for inserting the pump housing into an opening of an engine component, and a flange that delimits the plug-in section, for fastening the pump housing to the engine component. To cool the plug-in pump, the pump housing has at least one flow duct with a separate fluid inlet and a separate fluid outlet. The fluid inlet is connectable to a fluid-discharging line of the internal combustion engine, and the fluid outlet is connectable to a fluid-receiving line of the internal combustion engine.

A radial piston pump for supplying fuel at high-pressure to an internal combustion engine has a compression chamber arranged in a displacement housing, a reciprocating piston arranged in a cylinder chamber, a suction valve connected to a fuel supply line and has a spring-loaded closure body, an intermediate piece, a threaded pin and a pressure valve which is connected to a fuel outlet line. The closing body of the suction valve is embodied as a valve end pad with the spring exerting a force on the front end thereof. The valve end pad has a closure collar and at least two channels that are distributed around the periphery and which adjoin the closure collar and a base plate. A stop plate comprising an additional base plate borders the closure collar of the valve end pad as an intermediate piece to which the threaded pin is connected.

Radial piston pump for supplying fuel at high pressure to an internal combustion engine

A radial piston pump has a pump housing () and at least one pump unit () with a pump piston () and a cylinder () wherein the pump piston () can be mounted such that it can be moved backwards and forth, wherein the pump unit () can be driven by means of a camshaft () mounted in the pump housing (); and a roller plunger () is arranged between the camshaft () and the pump unit (), consisting of a plunger () and a roller (), wherein the plunger has a guide area () which is used to guide it a first slot-shaped guide groove () of the cylinder insert (). The roller plunger () is thus reliably prevented from rotating inside the cylinder insert (). The radial piston pumps are particularly suited for high rotational speeds occurring in high-pressure fuel pumps.

A radial piston pump () for supplying fuel at high-pressure to an internal combustion engine has a displacement housing () equipped with a compression chamber (), a reciprocating piston which is arranged in a cylinder chamber () of a cylinder (), a suction valve () which is connected to a fuel supply line () and a pressure valve () which is connected to a fuel outlet line (). The suction valve () and the pressure valve () have, respectively, a closing head ('), a valve seat (&#x2032;), a cylinder section (&#x2032;) and springs (&#x2032;). The suction valve () and the pressure valve () are identical components and the pressure valve () is incorporated into the radial piston pump () in the direction of flow counter to the suction valve ().

A high-pressure radial piston pump for common rail injection systems has a pump housing (), a drive shaft (), at least one pump piston () which can move in a radial direction in relation to the drive shaft () and a high pressure accumulator () integrated into the high-pressure radial piston pump. The high pressure accumulator () is embodied in the form of a ring.

Radial piston pump for common rail injection systems

A radial piston pump for generation of high fuel pressures in fuel injection systems comprises a pump housing, a pump shaft and at least one cylinder insert, arranged radially to the pump shaft. A cylinder chamber is located within the cylinder insert in which a piston can move back and forth. The cylinder insert is connected with a front face to a flattening of the pump housing, by connecting means. The cylinder insert comprises an inlet port and a high pressure port. The front face of the cylinder insert and/or the flattening of the pump housing comprise precisely machined raised sealing regions for sealing the cylinder insert against the pump housing, which are relatively small in relation to the total front face of the cylinder insert and the total flattening of the pump housing. A high surface pressure is thus achieved in the sealing region.

Radial piston pump

A high-pressure fuel accumulator (), in particular for a common rail injection system, has a housing () in which a pressure chamber () is inserted, and at least one inlet and at least one outlet. The pressure chamber is implemented as a through bore, wherein the through bore is securely sealed with a tie rod nut connection () (). In a high-pressure fuel accumulator the pressure chamber can be implemented as a blind bore, wherein the blind bore being securely sealed with a tie rod ().

The invention relates to a radial piston pump unit for a high pressure injection system with a pump housing in which a driveshaft with an eccentric section is mounted. A reciprocating ring sits on the above section and drives at least one spring-loaded piston which may be displaced in a direction radial to the drive axis. The driveshaft is embodied to comprise an end region which as a floating mounting and is also the drive for a fuel supply pump.
