Embodiments described herein relate to methods and apparatus for outputting a haptic signal to a haptic transducer. A method for triggering a haptic signal being output to a haptic transducer comprises receiving an audio signal for output through an audio output transducer; determining whether the audio signal comprises a haptic trigger based on an indication of a rate of change of an amplitude of the audio signal, and responsive to determining that the audio signal comprises a haptic trigger, triggering the haptic signal to be output to the haptic transducer.

Methods and apparatus for outputting a haptic signal to a haptic transducer

Embodiments described herein generally relate to analyzing a signal generated by a device under test (DUT). In particular, the signal generated by the DUT may be compared to a reference signal to determine pass/fail results for the DUT. For example, a method may include: storing, on a computing device, a reference signal from a reference device; receiving a test signal from a device under test (DUT); synchronizing the reference signal and the test signal based on a time-synchronization buffer of each signal; after the synchronization, comparing the test signal and the reference signal to determine a pass or fail result for the DUT; and generating a notification indicating the pass or fail result for the DUT.

Embodiments described herein generally relate to measuring and evaluating a test signal generated by a device under test (DUT). In particular, the test signal generated by the DUT may be compared to a reference signal and scored based on the comparison. For example, a method may include: capturing a test signal from a device under test; splicing the test signal into a plurality of test audio files based on a plurality of frequency bins; at each frequency bin, comparing each of the plurality of test audio files to a corresponding reference audio file from among a plurality of reference audio files, the plurality of reference audio files being associated with a reference signal; and calculating a performance score of the device under test based on the comparisons.

A system for canceling acoustic feedback includes an input for receiving a digital audio signal and a processor configured to detect acoustic feedback signal in the digital audio signal and to determine the frequency of the feedback signal The system also includes a plurality of bandpass filters for attenuating the feedback signal. The processor is further configured to: select a bandpass filter from among the plurality of bandpass filters. The selected bandpass filter comprises a response characteristic that attenuates parts of the signal at the frequency of acoustic feedback signal.

A system for detecting a voice signal includes: a first integrator for receiving an input signal and for providing a first integrator output signal, wherein the first integrator includes a first attack time; a second integrator for receiving the input signal and for providing a second integrator output signal, the second integrator including a second attack time that is substantially slower than the first attack time; and a comparator configured for receiving the first and second integrator output signals and for providing a comparator output signal indicating detection of a voice signal when the first integrator output signal exceeds the second integrator output signal by at least a threshold amount.
