A wafer-type electromagnetic flow sensor includes a single-piece chassis having a pair of faces and a flow conduit extending between the pair of faces. Each face of the chasses includes a feature configured to engage a metal sealing ring. A non-conductive liner is disposed in the flow conduit of the single-piece chassis. A plurality of electromagnetic coils is configured to generate a flux into process fluid flowing through the flow conduit. A pair of electrodes is configured to electrically couple to the process fluid. A feedthrough assembly is configured to maintain process fluid pressure while allowing a plurality of electrical conductors to pass therethrough.

High pressure wafer style magnetic flowmeter

A magnetic flowmeter includes a pipe section, coils for generating a magnetic field across the pipe section, and electrodes for sensing EMF induced by process fluid flow through the magnetic field. An assembly framework is mounted on the pipe. The coils, electrodes, and associated wiring of the flowmeter are located and secured in place by the framework.

A magnetic flowmeter includes a pipe with a non-conductive PTFE liner, magnetic coils to generate a magnetic field, and electrodes in contact with the fluid on opposite sides of the pipe. The electrodes comprise conductive PTFE patch electrodes bonded to the non-conductive PTFE liner so that an inner end of each patch electrode is exposed to fluid flowing through the interior pipe and an outer end of each patch electrode is aligned with an electrode hole in the pipe.

A magnetic flowmeter for sensing process fluid flow is provided. The flowmeter includes a tube configured to receive the process fluid flow therethrough. A plurality of electrodes is disposed to contact process fluid. At least one electromagnetic coil is disposed proximate the tube. Flowmeter electronics are configured to drive a current through at least one electromagnetic coil and to sense a signal developed across a plurality of electrodes disposed to contact process fluid. A flexible circuit module is disposed proximate the tube, and has at least one flexible circuit containing a plurality of electrical traces electrically coupled to the flowmeter electronics. The at least one electromagnetic coil includes a first coil in the flexible circuit module that is coupled to the electrical traces.

Magnetic flowmeter

A magnetic flowmeter comprises a pipe section, an insulating liner, a flangeless retention collar, a liner protector, a coil and an electromotive force sensor. The insulating liner lines the pipe section to form a process flow channel. The flangeless retention collar is located on an end of the pipe section for forming an end-to-end fluid connection to the process flow channel, and the liner protector is formed on the retention collar to provide an end seal for the insulating liner. The coil produces a magnetic field within the process flow channel, and the electromotive force sensor senses an electromotive force generated in fluid flow through the process flow channel.

A hearing aid having a battery door seal that substantially reduces or eliminates unwanted air flow from and into a battery compartment is provided. Eliminating unwanted air flow removes a potential source of acoustic feedback and provides significant improvement in frequency response of the hearing aid. The hearing aid includes a battery compartment with sidewalls that have a step joint formed between an opening in a faceplate to the battery compartment and a substantially flat portion of the sidewalls. The battery door has a lip that sets on the step joint when the battery door closes providing an air seal around a substantial portion of the battery compartment. A thin slit is provided between the faceplate and the battery door behind the end of the battery door, where the battery door is connected to the faceplate by a hinge to provide appropriate air flow for proper battery operation.

Hearing aid battery door seal

A control cover for a hearing aid is shown that prevents accidental changes in adjustment. The configurations of openings in the shield portion of the novel control cover substantially prohibit access of a typical human finger from an external side of a shield portion to an internal side of the shield portion. At the same time, the control cover shown allows a tool to access the internal side of the shield portion with the control cover in place. One embodiment of the control cover includes an attachment device that is only installed once, and does not need to be removed for adjustments to the variable control. The attachment device of the control cover will therefore not wear, and will not loosen over time. One embodiment further integrates the control cover with the hearing aid body, thus completely eliminating a possible detachment and loss of the control cover.
