A water heater appliance is provided that includes features that facilitate centering a tank within a casing of the water heater while also diminishing heat loss through the bottom of the water heater. More particularly, a water heater is provided that includes a bottom cover that has an integral centering feature that facilitates centering of the tank within the casing. A method for assembling a water heater appliance is also provided.

A water dispenser is fluidly connectable to a water source. The water dispenser includes a water tank; a faucet fluidly connected to the water tank and configured to generate an activation signal after being activated; a valve fluidly connectable to the water source and fluidly connected to the water tank; a first float switch movably disposed in the water tank and configured to generate an open signal after moving away from a predetermined position; and a controller operatively connected to the faucet and the first float switch. The controller is configured to open the valve to refill the water tank with water from the water source after the controller receives both the activation signal from the faucet and the open signal from the first float switch. A method of operating the water dispenser is also disclosed.

Water dispenser and method of operating it

A refrigerator condenser includes a spiraled tube and wire member construction to form a substantially longitudinal and rounded passage between a first end and a second end. The second end of the condenser is closed, thereby preventing longitudinal airflow through the passage and producing airflow into the passage in a substantially perpendicular direction to the condenser surface. Heat transfer to the air is thereby maximized and efficiency of the condenser is increased.

Condenser

A condenser and fan assembly for a refrigerator is described. In an example embodiment, the assembly comprises a baseplate, a condenser, and a baseplate mounting bracket secured to the condenser for mounting the condenser to the baseplate. The assembly further comprises a fan subassembly comprising a fan motor, a fan blade hub, a plurality of fan blades extending from the fan blade hub. The hub is coupled to the fan motor, and a shroud positioned over the fan blades. A bracket is secured to the shroud. A fan mounting bracket is secured to the condenser for mounting the fan subassembly to the condenser. Specifically, the fan mounting bracket mates with the fan subassembly bracket.

Refrigerator condenser and fan assembly

A dishwashing machine includes a door pivotally mounted for selectively exposing the interior of the machine for loading and unloading dishes or other items to be washed. An outer decorative door panel is mounted on the door for pivotal movement with the door and a lower decorative panel is hingedly mounted to the outer panel. Springs resiliently connect the lower panel to the frame of the dishwasher and bias the lower panel toward a vertical position while allowing the lower panel to move as the door, including the outer panel, pivots.
