Methods and systems using magnetism to securely hold detachable spray-extension straws to aerosol cans to prevent their misplacement or loss are presented. Created from inexpensive magnetic plastic material: one is a magnetized straw that alone will securely attach to a spray can, and others are a variety of magnetized devices that will affix the straw on the surface of spray cans by magnetic attraction forces. Each device variation is designed to grasp and hold a conventional plastic straw while magnetically attached to an aerosol can.

The present invention relates to systems and methods for customizing media (e.g., songs, text, books, stories, video, audio . . . ) via a computer network, such as the Internet. In particular, the systems and methods provide for construction of on-line social communities where orders for customized media or representative material associated with a performer's repertoire are received, performers associated with the on-line social communities are thereafter assigned to work on the orders for customized media based on their repertoire. On completion of the customization phase by the performers assigned to work on the orders and associated with the on-line social communities, the customized media is distributed to the users who initiated the order.

System and method that facilitates customizing media

System(s) and method(s) are provided for assembling and utilizing parabolic reflectors in a solar concentrator. Parabolic reflectors assembly starts with a low-cost, flat reflective material that is bent into a parabolic or trough shape via a set of support ribs that are affixed in a support beam. The parabolic reflectors are mounted on a support frame in various panels or arrays to form a parabolic solar concentrator. Each parabolic reflector focuses light in a line segment pattern. Light beam pattern focused onto a receiver via the parabolic solar concentrator can be optimized. The receiver is attached to the support frame, opposite the parabolic reflector arrays, and includes a photovoltaic (PV) module and a heat harvesting element that enable dual-mode energy conversion operation. To increase performance of the parabolic solar concentrator, the PV module can be configured to advantageously exploit a light beam pattern optimization regardless irregularities in the pattern.

The present invention relates to a system and method for customizing media (e.g., songs, text, books, stories, video, audio . . . ) via a computer network, such as the Internet. A system in accordance with the invention includes a component that provides for a user to search for and select media to be customized. A customization component receives data relating to modifying the selected media and generates a customized version of the media incorporating the received modification data. A distribution component delivers the customized media to the user. The present invention solves a unique problem in the current art by enabling a user to alter media in order to customize the media for a particular subject or recipient. This is advantageous in that the user need not have any singing ability for example and is not required to purchase any additional peripheral computer accessories to utilize the present invention. Thus, customization of media can occur for example via recording an audio track of customized lyrics or by textually manipulation of the lyrics and/or graphics. In achieving this goal, the present invention utilizes client/server architecture such as is commonly used for transmitting information over a computer network such as the Internet.
