Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a rank information change signal associated with rules for switching between a two-layer (2L) mode and a four-layer (4L) mode via an antenna panel displacement operation. The UE may transmit a transition time parameter associated with an amount of time for transitioning between the 2L mode and the 4L mode. Numerous other aspects are described.

Antenna panel displacement

Techniques are provided for reducing the form factor of smart labels. An example smart label includes a flexible circuit board comprising two or more layers, a communications circuit including at least one transceiver disposed on one of the two or more layers, an antenna tuning circuit disposed on one of the two or more layers and configured to receive radio frequency signals from the communications circuit, at least one flexible battery disposed on a first layer of the two or more layers and configured to provide power to the communications circuit, and an antenna element disposed on a second layer of the two or more layers and proximate to the at least one flexible battery, wherein the antenna element is configured to receive the radio frequency signals from the antenna tuning circuit.

Battery antenna for smart label

An antenna module is described. The antenna module include a ground plane in a multilayer substrate. The antenna module also includes a mold on the multilayer substrate. The antenna module further includes a conductive wall separating a first portion of the mold from a second portion of the mold. The conductive wall is electrically coupled to the ground plane. A conformal shield may be placed on a surface of the second portion of the mold. The conformal shield is electrically coupled to the ground plane.

An integrated millimeter wave antenna module may include at least one antenna array connected to a wiring board with a flexible printed circuit without any additional connectors. The integrated module may include an antenna, a flexible printed circuit attached to the antenna on one end and a wiring board on the other end.

Integrated antenna module

A mobile device holder that includes a body having a plurality of cavities. The mobile device holder includes a first assembly, a second assembly, and a third assembly. The first assembly is coupled to the body. The first assembly is configurable to be coupled to different portions of the body. The first assembly includes a first arm configured to be coupled to the body, a first slider coupled to the first arm, where the first slider is configured to move along the first arm, a first cap coupled to the first arm, and a first screw coupled to the first cap, where the first screw is configured to move the first slider along the first arm and towards the body.

An antenna system for transducing radio-frequency energy includes: a first antenna sub-system comprising a plurality of radiators and a ground conductor, each of the plurality of radiators being sized and shaped to transduce millimeter-wave energy between first wireless signals and first electrical current signals; and a second antenna sub-system comprising a first radiator configured to transduce sub-6 GHz energy between second wireless signals and second electrical current signals, wherein the first radiator comprises the ground conductor.
