A response vehicle system includes a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to determine whether a response vehicle has arrived at a scene and provide a signal to switch the response vehicle from an operational condition to a locked condition at least in response to the vehicle arriving at the scene, thereby preventing undesired operation of the response vehicle.

Response vehicle systems and methods

A vehicle includes a cabin, a brake, a vehicle subsystem, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to receive an indication that an operator is attempting to exit the cabin and automatically engage the brake in response to the indication to prevent movement of the vehicle.
