A customer eProcurement system enables a blanket purchase order on a supplier website to establish a budget, which buyers can use without the need to take their cart back to the customer eProcurement system. The budget value for a buyer or a group of buyers allows them to perform their buying functions without the need for further internal processing by the customer system so long as purchases are within the budget. The blanket purchase order allows buyers to place the orders directly on the supplier website, while at the same time following policies of the customer eProcurement system and allows easier order reconciliation within the customer system.

Devices and techniques are generally described for generating customized invoice data. In some examples, first data describing invoice settings for a first entity may be received during a registration process. In various examples, a plurality of invoice customizations may be determined based on a similarity between the first data and historical invoice settings of other entities. In some examples, the customized invoice data comprising the plurality of invoice customizations may be generated. In at least some examples, the customized invoice data may be stored in non-transitory computer-readable memory.

A pickup location is enabled to operate when communication over a network is not available by preemptively synchronizing certain data. For the delivery of an item, an access code that will be used by the user for retrieving the item from a storage compartment at the pickup location may be generated and synchronized between the pickup location and a remote computing resource before the item is delivered. Once the item is delivered to the pickup location, the access code is activated so that it can be used by the user for retrieving the item from the storage compartment.

A pickup location may be enabled to continue to operate when communication over a network is not available. When communication is not available, a pickup location may not be able to send a confirmation that a user has dropped off an item for a return or to send a request to have the item retrieved by a carrier. The pickup location may be enabled to assign a stored access code that was previously sent to a carrier and which will allow the item to be retrieved by the carrier who has arrived at the pickup location for reasons other than a request to retrieve the item. A retrieval confirmation from the carrier may be utilized to allow a refund or replacement process to be initiated, and to update capacity information for the pickup location, if the carrier meets a certain confidence threshold requirement based on past performance.

For the delivery of an item, order data such as the expected tracking identification for an item may be sent to the pickup location before the item is delivered. An access code that will be used by the user for retrieving the item from a storage compartment at the pickup location may also be generated and synchronized between the pickup location and a remote computing resource before the item is delivered. A delivery of an item as confirmed by a carrier may be reported to a user when communication with the pickup location is unavailable if the carrier meets a certain confidence threshold requirement based on past performance.

Various embodiments of a system and method for scheduled delivery of shipments with multiple shipment carriers are described. Various embodiments may include a scheduled delivery component configured to receive delivery availability information for multiple shipment carriers. In various embodiments, for each shipment carrier, delivery availability information may specify one or more delivery periods during which that shipment carrier is available to deliver shipments of one or more items to designated locations. This delivery availability information may be utilized to generate a scheduled delivery tool that enables users to select a particular delivery period during which an item is to be delivered. The scheduled delivery tool may provide multiple selectable delivery periods based on the delivery availability information of multiple shipment carriers. The scheduled delivery component may determine that a particular delivery period has been selected and generate a delivery instruction based on such selection.
