An electronic device for receiving and seamlessly providing cybersecurity analyzer updates and concurrent management systems for detecting cybersecurity threats including a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores an analyzer logic to generate a first analyzer configured to receive a suspicious object for threat evaluation, an inspection logic to manage a first queue of suspicious objects for threat evaluation to the first analyzer, and an update logic to receive updated cybersecurity analytics content data. The analyzer logic receives updated cybersecurity analytics content data and can generate a second analyzer that incorporates at least a portion of the parsed updated cybersecurity analytics content data. In response to the generation of the second analyzer, the inspection logic manages a second queue of subsequent suspicious objects and sends the subsequent suspicious objects to the second analyzer for threat evaluation, thereby minimizing downtime during the analyzer update process.

System and method for cybersecurity analyzer update and concurrent management system

A method, system, apparatus, and/or device for detecting pinch gestures in an augmented reality environment. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include: a wearable display, a sensor, and a processing device. The wearable display may be configured to attach to a head of a user and display an augmented reality environment to the user. The sensor may be configured to detect a position of a first digit of a hand of the user and detect a position of a second digit of the hand of the user. The processing device may be configured to: identify a first fingertip of the first digit; identify a second fingertip of the second digit; determine that the first fingertip and the second fingertip are in an open pinch position at a first point in time; and display a cursor at a midpoint between the first fingertip and the second fingertip.

Augmented reality hand gesture recognition systems

A technique deploys a virtualization layer underneath an operating system executing on a node of a network environment to enable the virtualization layer to control the operating system is described. One or more executables (binaries) for the virtualization layer may be included in a kernel module loaded in memory of the node with a first privilege level (e.g., highest privilege level) needed to control the guest operating system. The kernel module may be configured to suspend the guest operating system and one or more hardware resources to a quiescent state. Furthermore, the kernel module is configured to (i) capture and save states of the hardware resource(s) and (ii) bootstrap the virtualization layer to create a virtual machine with an initial state that corresponds to a state of the system prior to deployment of the virtualization layer.

Late load technique for deploying a virtualization layer underneath a running operating system

A method, system, apparatus, and/or device that may include a sensor configured to obtain position information of at least a portion of a hand in a space relative to a first axis and a second axis. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include a processing device configured to: determine that fingers and a thumb of the hand are located within the defined area based on the position information; determine a first position of the fingers and a second position of the thumb based on the position information; in response to the fingers being in a clenched position, generate hand position information that only includes position information of the thumb; and in response to the position information of the thumb indicated the thumb is extended and oriented in a first direction along a first axis or a second axis, execute a first instruction.

Method and apparatus for a three dimensional interface

A single pose is used in multiple postures to deliver at least a minimal core set of free space gestures for navigating within an interface, so as to be intuitive to users, easily remembered, straightforward for developers, and clearly defined for processing. A 'thumb-extended' pose with fingers together and clenched and thumb extended and raised is oriented in four cardinal directions so as to manifest four distinct postures: right, left, up, and down. Thumb-right and thumb left invoke scrolling forward and scrolling back, respectively, and thumb-up and thumb-down invoke yes and no respectively.

Method and apparatus for unified free space pose input system navigation

A late load technique deploys a virtualization layer underneath an operating system executing on a node of a network environment to enable the virtualization layer to control the operating system. Binary executable files (binaries) for the virtualization layer may be included in a ring 0 driver loaded in memory of the node with the highest privilege level (e.g., host mode ring 0) needed to control the guest operating system. The ring 0 driver may request allocation of physical memory from the guest operating system for the virtualization layer and thereafter suspend the guest operating system and hardware resources of the node in a deterministic manner. The ring 0 driver may capture architectural states of those resources, which are used to create a virtual machine and virtual devices having initial states that are substantially identical to the states of the operating system and hardware resources at the time of suspension. The ring 0 driver may then load the binaries of the virtualization layer in the allocated memory, bootstrap the virtualization layer to create the virtual machine, initialize the virtual devices and restart the devices in the virtual machine environment with the captured architectural states.
