An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores biometric data obtained from an account holder at a first location and identification information provided by the account holder that was used to open an existing account at the first location. The processor receives, from a device, data corresponding to an applicant that includes biometric data obtained from the applicant at a second location and identification information provided by the applicant at the second location. The applicant is requesting to open a new account using the identification information at the second location. In response to receiving the applicant's data, the processor determines that the applicant's biometric data matches the account holder's biometric data. The processor also determines that the applicant's identification information does not match the account holder's identification information. In response, the processor transmits an alert to the device indicating that the applicant's identity could not be verified.

Identity verification through a centralized biometric database

A device configured to receive a data transfer initiation request from a first user and to identify a user profile that is associated with a first user identifier for the first user. The device is further configured to obtain an account number and a routing number for the first user from the user profile. The device is further configured to obtain routing instructions for a service provider based on a service provider identifier. The device is further configured to generate a data transfer request that includes the account number for the first user, the routing number for the first user, a second user identifier for a second user, a data type identifier, and a data transfer type identifier. The device is further configured to send the data transfer request to the service provider in accordance with the routing instructions for the service provider.

Secure data transfer request routing for peer-to-peer services

Arrangements for haptic feedback control are provided. In some aspects, registration data may be received from a user. For instance, a user may identify one or more devices (e.g., payment devices such as credit or debit cards, mobile devices, or the like) associated with the user. In some examples, the user may also select customized haptic feedback associated with different feedback outputs. After receiving registration data, the computing platform may receive a request to process a transaction. The transaction may be initiated at a point-of-sale system of an entity via the payment device or card of the user. Transaction details may be analyzed to determine or identify a feedback output (e.g., approved, denied, request additional information or the like). Based on the identified feedback output, a feedback output command or instruction may be generated and transmitted to the payment device for execution.

Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for identity-based exposure detection in peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms. The present invention is configured to receive, from a computing device of a P2P platform, an indication that a user has initiated a P2P resource transfer request to a first entity; retrieve, from a computing device of the P2P platform, resource transfer information of the first entity based on at least the P2P resource transfer request; initiate a database query on a P2P knowledge repository using the resource transfer information of the first entity; determine a match between the resource transfer information of the first entity and at least one entity record in the P2P knowledge repository based on at least initiating the database query; and transmit a notification to the computing device of the P2P platform indicating that the first entity is known to be associated with misappropriate activity.

System for identity-based exposure detection in peer-to-peer platforms

Arrangements for comprehensive threat mitigation are provided. In some aspects, an indication of threat or potential threat may be received from an external entity. In some examples, the threat may include a cybersecurity threat. In response to receiving the indication of threat, identifying data associated with the external entity may be extracted from the indication and used to retrieve pre-stored customizations associated with the desired mitigating actions of the external entity. The one or more mitigating actions may be identified and instructions to execute the one or more mitigating actions may be generated and transmitted to one or more computing devices for execution.

Multi-computer system for comprehensive threat detection and mitigation

An apparatus is configured to receive a complaint initiation signal that includes an indication that a card reader may be compromised, and initiation date and time of the complaint, and geolocation data related to the reporting party. The apparatus is further configured to identify a street address closest to the geolocation data in the complaint using a geolocation application programming interface and the set of geolocation data. The apparatus is also configured to determine that the identified street address is associated with an entity. The apparatus then calculates a confidence interval as to whether that entity is the type of entity that uses a card reader. The apparatus is further configured to determine that the confidence interval exceeds a threshold. The apparatus is also configured to determine an identifier of the entity. Further, the apparatus is configured to publish an alert to a data feed.

A system includes a device including one or more sensors that generate one or more signals used to detect whether an unauthorized activity has occurred at the device. The device is configured to transmit the one or more signals generated by the one or more sensors. The central monitoring device is configured to receive the one or more signals and compare the one or more signals with a baseline signal for the device. The baseline signal includes an expected signal for each of the one or more sensors when the unauthorized activity has not occurred. The monitoring device determines whether the unauthorized activity has occurred based on a result of the comparison.

Detecting unauthorized activity related to a device by monitoring signals transmitted by the device

A system includes a motherboard configured to hold electronic devices and allow communication between one or more of the electronic devices, a power supply module configured to supply power to the one or more electronic devices, a peripheral device communicatively coupled to the motherboard using a peripheral port of the motherboard to perform at least one action related to an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and a monitoring device communicatively coupled to the motherboard. The monitoring device is configured to monitor a voltage associated with the peripheral device and detect when the monitored voltage does not match an expected voltage associated with the peripheral device. In response to the detecting, the monitoring device determines that an unauthorized activity associated with the peripheral device has occurred.

An authentication device that is configured to receive an authentication request that includes a device identifier from a user device. The authentication device is further configured to identify a first device that is associated with the device identifier and to send a device fingerprint request to the first device. The authentication device is further configured to receive a first device fingerprint for the first device. The first device fingerprint is uniquely associated with the first device and includes a unique bit string that is generated based on a configuration of the first device. The authentication device is further configured to identify a second device fingerprint that is associated with the first device from among a plurality of device fingerprints stored in a memory, to compare the first device fingerprint to the second device fingerprint, and to send an authentication response to the user device based on the comparison.

Network device authentication for information security

An apparatus is configured to receive a data feed. The data feed includes location data of a first card reader that may be compromised and an identifier of the party that initiated the alert. The apparatus is further configured to determine that the location data of the first card reader matches a location identifier associated with a first card reader owner profile. The apparatus is also configured to determine that the owner of the card reader is not the entity receiving the alert. The apparatus then determines that there is not a match between the identifier of the party that initiated the alert and a user identifier from a plurality of user account profiles. The apparatus is further configured to transmit a message to the card reader owner indicating that the card reader may be compromised.
