A system described herein may receive a request to bridge an asset from a first distributed ledger to a second distributed ledger. The system may record, to the first distributed ledger, information indicating that the asset is frozen. The first distributed ledger may maintain information indicating that the frozen asset remains associated with an owner of the asset. The system may record, to the second distributed ledger, a bridged version of the asset, and may link the asset to the bridged asset. The system may identify a transfer of the bridged version of the asset to a second owner, and record, to the first distributed ledger and based on the linking of the asset to the bridged asset, information disassociating the first owner from the asset.

Systems and methods for cross-chain feature sets for digital assets

An exemplary method includes an access management system receiving a signed message that is associated with a non-fungible digital asset and that includes a non-fungible digital asset identifier and a nonce. The non-fungible digital asset may be configured to provide access to an access-restricted resource. Based on the non-fungible digital asset identifier included in the signed message, the access management system may access a distributed record that is configured to store ownership information associated with the non-fungible digital asset. Based on the signed message and the ownership information stored in the distributed record, the access management system may verify that a user of the non-fungible digital asset is authorized to access the access-restricted resource.

An exemplary volumetric processing system includes a set of point cloud generators, a point cloud organizer, a voxelizer, and a set of patch renderers. The point cloud generators correspond to image capture systems disposed at different vantage points to capture color and depth data for an object located within a capture area. The point cloud generators generate respective point clouds for the different vantage points based on the captured surface data. The point cloud organizer consolidates point cloud data that corresponds to a surface of the object. The voxelizer generates a voxel grid representative of the object based on the consolidated point cloud data. The set of patch renderers generates, based on the voxel grid, a set of rendered patches each depicting at least a part of the surface of the object. An exemplary method includes a first physical computing device of a virtual reality system acquiring, from a capture device physically disposed at a vantage point in relation to a three-dimensional ('3D') scene, surface data for the 3D scene, the surface data including a first instance of a multi-bit frame, separating the first instance of the multi-bit frame into a most significant byte ('MSB') frame and a least significant byte (&#x201c;LSB&#x201d;) frame, compressing the MSB frame, and transmitting the LSB frame and the compressed MSB frame to a second physical computing device of the virtual reality system by way of the network interface.

Methods and systems for transmitting data in a virtual reality system

An exemplary video encoding system accesses an image set that includes first and second consecutive color data images depicting a virtual reality scene from a particular vantage point, and first and second consecutive depth data images corresponding to the color data images. The system performs a first-pass video encoding of the image set by identifying motion vector data associated with a transformation from the first to the second color data image, and abstaining from analyzing a transformation from the first to the second depth data image. The system then performs a second-pass video encoding of the image set based on the identified motion vector data by encoding the first and second color data images into a color video stream to be rendered by a media player device, and the first and second depth data images into a depth video stream to be rendered by the media player device.
