A wireless device selects, in response to initiating a random access procedure, a first radio resource for transmitting a message. In response to determining the first radio resource is invalid for transmission of the message, the wireless device transmits, via a second radio resource, the message based on determining the second radio resource is valid for the transmission of the message and determining a time difference between the second radio resource and the first radio resource is smaller than a threshold.

Two step random access in non-terrestrial networks

A wireless device may receive one or more configuration parameters indicating entries of a time domain resource allocation table and one or more scheduling offsets. Each entry of the entries may comprise a respective slot offset. The wireless device may receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating a first entry of the entries and a first scheduling offset of the one or more scheduling offsets. The wireless device may receive downlink data in a first slot determined based on a slot offset of the first entry and the first scheduling offset.

High frequency time domain resource allocation

A wireless device may receive from a base station a first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. The first DCI may indicate that the wireless device is not to transmit feedback for the PDSCH transmission before receiving a second DCI and a PDSCH group index. The second DCI may indicate a time slot for transmitting feedback and the PDSCH group index. In response to the wireless device receiving the second DCI and based on the second DCI indicating feedback for the same PDSCH group index as the first DCI, the wireless may transmit to the base station, in the time slot indicated, the feedback for the PDSCH transmission.

Scheduling physical downlink shared channel feedback

A wireless device may receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating a first TCI state of TCI states. The first TCI state may be associated with a first power control parameter and may be applicable after a first time instance for uplink channel transmissions. The DCI may comprise an uplink grant scheduling a transport block at a second time instance and indicating a second power control parameter. The wireless device may select, from the first power control parameter and the second power control parameter, a power control parameter based on a comparison of the first time instance with the second time instance. The wireless device may determine, based on the selecting, a transmit power. The wireless device may transmit, based on the transmit power and via a physical uplink shared channel, the transport block.

Power control procedures with common beams

Downlink signals, such as synchronization signals and/or reference signals, may be used for facilitating communications between communication devices. The downlink signals may be dynamically reconfigured, for reduced resource consumption, using control channel signaling with reduced resource overhead. Reconfiguration of downlink signals may be based on determined traffic volume in the communication network to minimize any impact of the reconfiguration on network performance.

Dynamic signaling for energy saving in wireless communications

A wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) comprising one or more fields set to one or more values. The wireless device validates, based on the one or more values, the DCI as an activation or a release of a configured grant of a bandwidth part (BWP) of BWPs of a cell. The wireless device transmits, based on validating the DCI, a confirmation of receiving the DCI, wherein the confirmation comprises an identifier of the BWP and an identifier of a sub-band of a plurality of sub-bands of the BWP.

Configured grant processes for wireless devices

A base station may transmit, to a wireless device, configuration parameters for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS), indicating periodic downlink resources for SPS physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. The base station may transmit, to the wireless device, a downlink control information (DCI). The DCI may indicate: an activation of the periodic downlink resources, a PUCCH resource for receiving feedback information corresponding to a plurality of SPS PDSCH transmissions via the periodic downlink resources, and a total downlink assignment index (DAI) incremented based on a number of the plurality of SPS PDSCH transmissions corresponding to the PUCCH resource. The base station may receive, from the wireless device via the PUCCH resource, feedback information bits for the plurality of SPS PDSCH transmissions based on the total DAI.

Semi-persistent scheduling in high frequency

A first wireless receives a message comprising one or more configuration parameters indicating: a number of a plurality of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resources that are associated with a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission, and a period of the plurality of PSFCH resources, wherein a time interval of two consecutive PSFCH resources, of the plurality of PSFCH resources, is equal to the period of the plurality of PSFCH resources. The first wireless device transmits, to a second wireless device and via a first slot, a first PSSCH transmission. The first wireless device sends a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback based on at least one PSFCH reception in a first plurality of PSFCH resources, of the plurality of PSFCH resources, wherein the first plurality of PSFCH resources occur at least one slot after the first slot.

Sidelink hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement information generation

A wireless device receives a downlink control information that indicates: physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) across slots in a cell; group indexes of the PDSCHs, respectively, with each of the group indexes being one of a first value or a second value; and an uplink control channel for transmitting feedback information of one or more PDSCHs with one or more respective group indexes being a same value as a first group index of a first PDSCH of the PDSCHs. The wireless devices determines that the first group index of the first PDSCH is the first value. The wireless device transmits, via the uplink control channel, feedback information of one or more first PDSCHs, from the PDSCHs, with one or more respective first group indexes being the first value.

Requesting feedback information in multi-downlink scheduling

An example method includes receiving, by a wireless device, downlink control information (DCI). The DCI may schedule transport blocks (TBs) via physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) at a first slot and a second slot. The DCI may also indicate a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for reception of the TBs. The method may also include receiving, based on a second TCI state, a first TB, of the TBs, at the first slot. The method may also include receiving, based on the first TCI state, the second TB, of the TBs, at the second slot in response to a time difference between the first slot and the second slot being larger than a time gap.

Beam determination procedures in radio systems

Beam determination and beam activation may be used in wireless communications. An initial (e.g., default) TCI state pool, of a plurality of TCI state pools, may be used to receive one or more messages indicating a second TCI state pool for communicating signals between a wireless device and a base station. The one or more messages may comprise an indication of a TCI state pair (e.g., an uplink TCI state and a downlink TCI state) of the second TCI state pool.

Beam activation and determination in wireless networks

A wireless device may receive downlink control information (DCI) comprising parameters of a plurality physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions of a cell. A wireless device may determine, for a transport block (TB), a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a first PUSCH transmission of the plurality of PUSCH transmissions. In response to a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, for the TB of the first PUSCH transmission, indicating a busy channel, the wireless device may transmit the TB via a second PUSCH transmission, of the plurality PUSCH transmissions, associated with a second HARQ process.

Hybrid automatic repeat request process handling for uplink transmissions after listen-before-talk

A base station and/or a wireless device may communicate using a plurality of wireless resources. Multiple carriers may be used for a transmission such that portions of the transmission may be transmitted using different carriers. Multiple carrier transmission may be independently configured for each of a plurality of wireless resources.

Transmission using a plurality of wireless resources

A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating a first logical channel of a bearer, configured with duplication, mapped to a first base station distributed unit (DU) and a second logical channel of the bearer mapped to a second base station DU. Based on activation of duplication for the bearer, the wireless device transmits first data of the first logical channel via the first base station DU and second data of the second logical channel via the second base station DU.

A base station sends, to a wireless device, a first downlink control information (DCI) comprising a first HARQ process identifier, a first NDI comprising a first value, and an indication to postpone a HARQ acknowledgement transmission for a HARQ process identified by the first HARQ process identifier. The base station sends, to the wireless device, a second DCI comprising the first HARQ process identifier and a second NDI comprising a second value. The base station sends, to the wireless device and based on the second DCI, a transport block corresponding to the first HARQ process identifier.
