A method of operating a mobile terminal includes obtaining at least one image and determining event information that is to be associated with the obtained at least one image. The method also includes storing, in computer memory, the obtained at least one image and information that associates the obtained at least one image with the event information. The method additionally includes detecting an event on the mobile terminal, and determining that the detected event corresponds to the event information. The method further includes displaying, on a display of the mobile terminal and based on the determination that the detected event corresponds to the event information, a first image among the at least one image that has been stored and associated with the event information.

Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes a body, a display coupled to the body, a user input unit, a sensing unit configured to sense inclination of the main body relative to reference plane and to sense direction of the inclination, and a controller configured to cause the display to display a first area of a page, to screen-capture the first area when an input is received at the user input unit, and to screen-capture a second area of the page consecutive to the screen-capture of the first area when the page is scrolled in a first direction determined according to the sensed direction of the inclination and while the input is being received at the user input unit, wherein the second area is different from the first area of the page.

Mobile terminal and method for controlling the same

A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are disclosed. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a terminal body provided with a first body and a second body, and formed to switch from either one of an open configuration in which inner surfaces of the first and second bodies are open and a closed configuration in which the inner surfaces are covered to the other one thereof; a hinge portion configured to connect the first and second bodies, and support the first and second bodies to rotate relative to each other; a display unit comprising inner display regions disposed on the inner surfaces of the first and second bodies, and first and second extended display regions extended from the inner display regions and disposed on outer sides of the first and second bodies; and a controller configured to display a notification icon indicating the occurrence of an event in the first extended display region when the event occurs in at least one application in the closed configuration, and move the notification icon to the second extended display region and change a notification priority of the event when a touch input applied to the notification icon is dragged to the second extended display region.
