An optical transmission device capable of accommodating superfluous lengths of optical fiber cables in a small space, and facilitating the workability for the operator and the maintenance of the device, is provided. An optical transmission device,includes a body,with an optical fiber cable accommodating structure attachment member,on a back surface of the body, drums,of thin disk shapes for winding the superfluous lengths of the optical fiber cables therearound, drum holders,for rotatably and detachably supporting the drums, and slide structures,for supporting the drum holder,so that the drum holders can move toward and away from the body,The drums,are arranged so that rotation axes of the drum extend horizontally and parallel to the back surface of the body

Optical transmission device with optical fiber cable accommodating structures

A line terminating device including a housing having first and second openings and a main printed wiring board vertically mounted in a front end portion of the housing. A first optical module for performing conversion between an optical signal and an electrical signal, a WDM module, and electronic components are mounted on the main printed wiring board. The line terminating device further includes an extension electronic circuit package inserted from the first opening into the housing and a power supply package inserted from the second opening into the housing. A second optical module for performing conversion between an optical signal and an electrical signal is mounted on the extension electronic circuit package. An extra optical cable length winding drum is mounted on an upper surface of the housing. An extra length of a subscriber optical cable is wound around the drum, and an extra length of a terminal optical cable connected to a terminal device is also wound around the drum.

Line terminating device

A power supply apparatus for a package, in which power is supplied to a package connected to a shelf, aiming at supplying power to the package without using signal pins of a connecting part on a back wiring board and reducing voltage drop at a pattern on the back wiring board to a negligible degree. A fitting section of a package printed board and a fitting section are fitted to each end of a tab of the back wiring board, and a fitting section of a package printed board and a fitting section are fitted to each end of a tab of the back wiring board. Further, a connector on the package side of package printed board and a connector are fitted to each end of a signal terminal group of the back wiring board.
