A vehicle drive device including: a first rotary electric machine; a second rotary electric machine; a first coupler drivingly coupled to a first wheel; a second coupler drivingly coupled to a second wheel; a transmission device that transmits torque of the first rotary electric machine to at least the first coupler out of the first coupler and the second coupler, and transmits torque of the second rotary electric machine to at least the second coupler out of the first coupler and the second coupler; and a case that accommodates the first rotary electric machine, the second rotary electric machine, the first coupler, the second coupler, and the transmission device.

Vehicle drive device

A first planetary gear and a clutch are placed between a second carrier of a second planetary gear and an output shaft in the axial direction. A transmission case has a small diameter tubular portion that rotatably supports an output shaft, an annular wall portion extended radially outward from the small diameter tubular portion, and a large diameter tubular portion extended in the axial direction from the outer periphery of the annular wall portion such that the first planetary gear and the clutch are partially surrounded. A mount is fixed to a vehicle body of a vehicle so as to at least partially overlap the small diameter tubular portion, the annular wall portion, and the large diameter tubular portion as viewed in the radial direction. A parking gear of a parking lock device is coupled to the outer periphery of the second carrier.

Power transmission device

A vehicle drive transfer apparatus including a planetary gear mechanism including a carrier for supporting a sun gear, a ring gear, and a plurality of pinion gears through pinion shafts and pinion bearings, wherein an in-shaft oil passage is provided in each of the pinion shafts to supply lubricating oil to each of the pinion bearings; and an oil receiver attached to the carrier to receive lubricating oil supplied from an oil supplier and lead the lubricating oil to the in-shaft oil passage in each of the pinion shafts.

Vehicle drive transfer apparatus

A hybrid drive system includes an input member, a rotating electric machine, a power distributing apparatus that distributes and transmits torque transmitted to the input member to the rotating electric machine and an output member, an output gear capable of outputting torque transmitted to the output member, an output bearing that rotatably supports the output member, and a rotor bearing that rotatably supports the rotor. The entire apparatus is arranged overlapping with the output member at a position in an axial direction on a radially inner side of the output member, and a ring gear of the apparatus is integrally provided with the output member, on an inner peripheral surface of the output member. The output gear is integrally provided with the output member, on an outer peripheral surface of the output member. The output bearing and the rotor bearing are arranged overlapping at a position in the axial direction.

Hybrid drive system

A vehicle drive device configured with reduced axial dimensions, while still having appropriate lubrication. The vehicle drive device is configured with an input shaft coupled to an engine, a rotary electric machine, and an output shaft coupled to wheels. A power transfer mechanism couples input shaft, the rotary electric machine, and the output shaft. A case houses at least the rotary electric machine and the power transfer mechanism. An oil reserving portion capable of reserving oil supplied by rotation of the power transfer mechanism is provided above the rotor shaft inside the case. A communication oil passage is oriented between the oil reserving portion and an inner circumferential space formed inside the rotor shaft. The rotor shaft is disposed to be inserted into the inside housing space, and has a supply communication hole that communicates between the inner circumferential space and the inside housing space.

An electric drive device including an input member drivably coupled to an internal combustion engine, a first rotary electric machine, a second rotary electric machine disposed on an axis different from that of the first rotary electric machine, an output member drivably coupled to wheels and the second rotary electric machine, a power distribution device that distributes torque transferred from the input member to the output member and the first rotary electric machine, and a case.

An oil collecting portion is configured to collect oil supplied by rotation of the power transfer mechanism, The collected oil falling passage is configured to cause the oil collected by the oil collecting portion to flow downward to be supplied to a portion of a facing wall surface located above a cylindrical member. A communication oil passage communicates between the gap and the inside housing space is formed at a portion of abutment between the subject support bearing and the support projecting portion.

A hybrid vehicle driving apparatus includes: a first rotor shaft of a first electric motor, the first electric motor being disposed on a first axis; a power distribution mechanism that includes a planetary gear device and is disposed on the first axis; an output gear shaft that serves as an output member of the power distribution mechanism and is disposed on the first axis; a counter shaft disposed on a second axis; a second rotor shaft of a second electric motor disposed on a third axis; a power transmission shaft disposed on the third axis; a differential gear disposed on a fourth axis; and a casing that includes a plurality of case members. The output gear shaft, the power transmission shaft, the counter shaft, the differential gear, the first rotor shaft, and the second rotor shaft are rotatably supported by a common case member that is one of the plurality of case members.

Hybrid vehicle driving apparatus

A drive device in which a driving force transfer mechanism is accommodated in a case that includes a main body portion having an opening portion and a cover portion attached to the opening portion, and the cover portion is provided with an oil pump. The drive device is configured with a pump cover attached to a case inner surface of the cover portion, which forms an inner surface of the case, such that the pump cover is accommodated in a case internal space surrounded by the main body portion and the cover portion. A pump chamber of the oil pump is formed by a recess that is formed in at least one of a mating surface of the cover portion and a mating surface of the pump cover in a bonding portion between the cover portion and the pump cover.

Drive device

A drive device includes: an input shaft connected to an engine; a first motor-generator; a second motor-generator; a planetary gear unit including three rotating elements; an output gear connected to the planetary gear unit; an output shaft that transmits rotation of the output gear to a driving wheel; and a control device that controls at least one of the first and second motor-generator. The output gear, the planetary gear unit, and the first motor-generator are coaxial with the input shaft. The planetary gear unit is provided radially inside the first motor-generator and is provided at the same position as the first motor-generator in the axial direction. The second motor-generator is provided on an axis different from the input shaft and the output shaft axes. The control device is provided on the side of the output gear, the planetary gear unit, and the first motor-generator that is opposite the input shaft.

A drive device includes a rotating electrical machine; a planetary gear unit positioned radially inside the rotating electrical machine so as to axially overlap the rotating electrical machine; a through shaft extending radially inside and through a sun gear of the planetary gear unit; and a case that accommodates the rotating electrical machine and the planetary gear unit. The through shaft is supported by the case on both axial sides of the planetary gear unit, and a rotor of the rotating electrical machine is connected integrally with the sun gear and is rotatably supported at two axial positions, the rotor is supported at a first axial position of the two axial positions by the case, and the rotor is supported at a second axial position of the two axial positions at a position radially inside the sun gear by the through shaft.

Drive device that is reduced in size while maintaining high axial center accuracy of a rotor shaft

An electrical connection structure that includes a first connection portion of the connection member that is fixedly fastened to the first terminal by a fastening bolt, and a second connection portion of the connection member that is connected to the second terminal through an insertable/removable plug, the first connection portion is fixedly fastened to the first terminal by inserting the fastening bolt through an insertion hole provided in one of the connection member and the first terminal, and fastening the fastening bolt in a fastening hole provided in the other of the connection member and the first terminal, the insertion hole is formed larger than a diameter of a shaft-like portion of the fastening bolt, and an inserting/removing direction of the plug and an axial direction of the fastening bolt are substantially parallel to each other.

A vehicular power transmitting system including a transmission portion constituting a part of a power transmitting path, an electric motor connected to the power transmitting path, an electrically controlled differential portion connected to the electric motor and having a differential state controllable according to a change of an operating speed of the electric motor, a casing accommodating the transmission portion, the electric motor and the electrically controlled differential portion, and a support member for supporting a rotor of the electric motor, the support member including a support portion formed in one axial end portion thereof, at which the rotor is supported rotatably about its axis, and a tapered portion having a diameter increasing in an axial direction from the one axial end portion toward the other axial end portion at which the support member is fixed to the casing, and wherein a winding portion of a stator of the electric motor is disposed in a space formed radially outwardly of the tapered portion, while a fluid passage portion for supplying a working fluid to frictional coupling devices of the transmission portion is disposed in a space formed radially inwardly of the tapered portion.
