Disclosed is an image forming method including: developing, with an electrostatic charge image developing toner, a latent image formed on a photoreceptor in which a photosensitive layer is formed on a support containing aluminum as a main component; transferring a toner image on the photoreceptor onto a transfer target; and rubbing and removing the electrostatic charge image developing toner remaining on the photoreceptor after the transferring. The support contains silicon in a range of more than 0.6% by mass and 12.6% by mass or less, a shape factor of toner particles included in the electrostatic charge image developing toner is in a range of 0.800 to 0.970, and a content of the toner particles having a particle diameter of 2 μm or less is in a range of 5% by number to 30% by number.

Image forming method and image forming system

A toner set includes a plurality of toners, wherein the toner set includes a first toner containing a yellow colorant and a second toner containing a cyan colorant, the first toner and the second toner each contain a binder resin containing a vinyl-based resin and a crystalline resin, and a release agent containing a hydrocarbon wax, a content of the vinyl-based resin with respect to a total mass of the binder resin is 50% by mass or more, the first toner contains the crystalline resin having a moiety having a crystal structure and a crystal nucleating agent moiety having a crystal nucleating agent, and the second toner contains the cyan colorant that is a compound represented by general formula (1).

Toner set and image forming method

An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming method capable of coating a photocurable varnish without unevenness on a toner image formed using an electrostatic latent image developing toner, and further having good adhesion between a varnish layer and the toner image. The image forming method of the present invention comprises: forming a toner image on a recording medium using an electrostatic latent image developing toner containing a toner particle comprising a binder resin and a release agent; and forming a varnish layer on the toner image by applying and curing a photocurable varnish comprising a photocurable compound. The binder resin comprised in the electrostatic latent image developing toner contains a crystalline polyester resin. The photocurable compound comprised in the photocurable varnish comprises a diol di(meth)acrylate having a straight hydrocarbon chain.

Image forming method

Provided is a color image forming process using colorant-containing toners of multiple colors containing colorants respectively having different resistances, wherein each of the colorant-containing toners contains an amorphous resin, a crystalline polyester resin, and a mold release agent, at least the crystalline polyester resin contained in the colorant-containing toner other than the colorant-containing toner containing a colorant having the lowest resistance contains a hybrid crystalline polyester resin formed by bonding a crystalline polyester polymerized segment and an amorphous polymerized segment, and the content of the amorphous polymerized segment in the hybrid crystalline polyester resin contained in the colorant-containing toner other than the colorant-containing toner containing a colorant having the lowest resistance is greater than the content of the amorphous polymerized segment in the crystalline polyester resin contained in the colorant-containing toner containing a colorant having the lowest resistance.

Color image forming process and color toner set

An image forming method includes using yellow toner, magenta toner, cyan toner, and black toner in which each of the yellow toner, the magenta toner, the cyan toner, and the black toner includes a crystalline polyester resin having a constitutional unit derived from a linear chain aliphatic diol, an amorphous resin, a colorant, and a releasing agent. A carbon number of a linear chain aliphatic diol component forming the crystalline polyester resin contained in the black toner is 6 or more, and a carbon number of a linear chain aliphatic diol component forming the crystalline polyester resin contained in each of the yellow toner, the magenta toner, and the cyan toner is 3 or more and 5 or less.

A production method for polishing-material particles, comprising: forming an inner layer having, as a main component thereof, a salt of at least one element selected from Al, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, Zr, In, Sn, Y, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, W, Bi, Th, and the alkali earth metals; adding a prepared aqueous solution, at a prescribed time, to a reaction solution in which the salt formed from the element is dispersed, to form an outer layer on the outer side of the inner layer; using solid-liquid separation to separate a polishing-material-particle precursor from the reaction solution, and the polishing-material-particle precursor is baked; and the percentage of Ce in the reaction solution in which the surface of the outer layer is formed is in the range of 60-90 mol % inclusive.

Production method for polishing-material particles

Disclosed are polishing material particles which have polishing performance suitable for precision polishing and also have a high polishing speed and high monodispersibility; a polishing material containing the polishing material particles; and a polishing processing method using the polishing material. The polishing material particles are spherical particles having an average aspect ratio of 1.00 to 1.15, wherein the particle diameter (D(nm)) of the polishing material particles as determined from a particle diameter cumulative distribution curve falls within the range from 50 to 1500 nm. The average content of cerium or the total content of cerium and at least one element selected from lanthanum (La), praseodymium (Pr), neodymium (Nd), samarium (Sm) and europium (Eu) in the polishing material particles is 81 mol % or more relative to the total content of all of rare earth elements that constitute the polishing material particles.
