A message reminder system, to perform operations that include: causing display of a presentation of a message addressed to a user, at a first position among a message feed of the user at a client device; receiving a request to open the message from the user of the client device, the request including a timestamp; detecting a trigger event based on at least the timestamp of the request to open the message, the trigger event comprising event attributes; generating a notification to be applied to the presentation of the message, the notification based on at least the event attributes of the trigger event; moving the presentation of the message from the first position among the message feed to a second position among the message feed; and applying the notification to the presentation of the message.

Message reminder interface

Systems, devices, methods, instructions stored on media, and other embodiments for a camera interface are described. One embodiment is a method of providing audio input feedback during content capture using a camera, which can involve initiating capture of a piece of content in response to a capture input touch action received at a camera interface on a touchscreen display of the computing device and then processing data from a microphone of the computing device to identify an audio stream associated with the piece of content. An audio quality score is determined from the audio stream, and a feedback signal is displayed on the touchscreen display of the computing device while the capture input touch action is ongoing and associated with capture of the piece of content.

Generating recipient-personalized media content items

Systems and methods are provided for receiving a selection to add an event invite media overlay to a media content item, receiving content to be added to the event invite media overlay, the content corresponding to an event, and adding to the event invite media overlay, the content corresponding to the event to generate a custom event invite media overlay. The systems and methods further comprise causing display of the custom event invite media overlay on the media content item, receiving at least one user to which to send an invite to the event, and sending, to a second computing device associated with the at least one user, an invite to the event, the invite comprising the custom event invite media overlay and the media content item.

Event planning in a content sharing platform

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interfaces to facilitate electronic chat conversations between users via multiple modes of electronic communication. A conversation view is displayed on a touch screen display of a client device. The conversation view presents messages exchanged between a first user and at least one other user in an electronic chat conversation. A user input comprising a touch gesture corresponding to an interaction with the display of the conversation view is received. Based on the user input, a camera feed view is displayed on the touch screen display. The camera feed view comprises a display of image data and enables a user to create a message comprising one or more images. A message is generated, and an indication of the message is displayed in the conversation view.

User interfaces to facilitate multiple modes of electronic communication

Method of generating customized avatars based on location information includes processor receiving from first client device location information including a location of the first client device. Processor causes a status interface to be displayed on first client device that includes selectable location items corresponding to locations based on the location information. Processor receives a selection from first client device of first selectable location item and causes avatar selection interface to be displayed on first client device that includes versions of first avatar performing actions related to the first selectable location item. Processor receives selection of first selectable version of the first avatar and generates a map interface that includes a map display based on the location information and the first selectable version of the first avatar. Processor causes the map interface to be displayed on at least one of the plurality of client devices. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Generating customized avatars based on location information

Systems, devices, methods, instructions stored on media, and other embodiments for a camera interface are described. A standardized modular camera interface may be presented with context elements based on a target interface used to initiate presentation of the camera interface, and with customized actions for creating and sending content, as well as returning to the target interface. In some embodiments, the camera interface includes an audio quality feedback element that is displayed while content is being captured. Such an element can provide feedback on audio quality as the content is being captured. In various embodiments, shape or color displays and changes indicate varying audio quality conditions. Such indicators are, in some embodiments, generated by processing audio stream segments in a machine learning model to generate an audio quality score used to generate the feedback element.
