Systems, techniques, and devices for performing passive continuous authentication of a user of display device are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the techniques include obtaining first information including at least one of (i) non-analyte sensor data from one or more sensors of a display device or (ii) analyte sensor data from an analyte sensor system. The techniques further include authenticating an identity of the user of the display device at a first point in time and based on the first information. The techniques further include allowing the user of the display device to access a medical device software running on the display device without prompting the user for authentication information, upon determining that the authentication at the first point in time is successful.

Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for wireless communication of analyte data. In this regard, in embodiments, a mobile includes a transceiver configured to transmit and receive wireless signals. The mobile device includes circuitry operatively coupled to the transceiver. Functional randomness in security tokens (FRIST) may achieve improved security in two-factor authentication hardware tokens by improving on the algorithms used to securely generate random data. A system and method in one embodiment according to the present invention may allow for security of a token based on storage cost and computational security. This approach may enable communication where security is no longer based solely on onetime pads (OTPs) generated from a single cryptographic function (e.g., SHA-256).

System and method for key generation in security tokens

A storage device is coupled to a computing system comprising an operating system and application software. Access to the storage device is blocked by a kernel filter driver, except exclusive access is granted to a first anti-virus engine. The first anti-virus engine is directed to scan the storage device for malicious software and report results. Exclusive access may be granted to one or more other anti-virus engines and they may be directed to scan the storage device and report results. Approval of all or a portion of the information on the storage device is based on the results from the first anti-virus engine and the other anti-virus engines. The storage device is presented to the operating system and access is granted to the approved information. The operating system may be a Microsoft Windows operating system. The kernel filter driver and usage of anti-virus engines may be configurable by a user.
