The present invention provides an apparatus for sensing the pressure on the body of a patient on an anterior hip table or a standard surgical table. The pressure monitoring post provides a warning indicator when the pressure exceeds a predetermined value that is related to pressure related injuries. The pressure monitoring post may also provide for a center and two lateral pressure sensors to detect the pressure resulting on a patient's body during various processes related to hip distraction for arthroscopy and arthroplasty procedures.

A system for an unmanned aerial vehicle can include an altitude control system, which further includes a compressor assembly, a valve assembly, and an electronics control assembly. The compressor assembly may include a compressor housingthat includes a compressor inlet, an outlet, and a cavityextending therethrough and joining the inlet to the outlet. A diffusermay be coupled to the compressor housing. A motor housingmay be disposed within the central cavity at the inlet of the compressor housing, and a compressor motormay be disposed within the motor housing. An impellerdisposed within the compressor housing may be coupled to a driveshaftfor rotation therewith. The valve assembly may be coupled to an openingof the compressor inlet. The valve headmay be configured to move into and away from the inlet opening so as to change a size of the circumferential area of the inlet opening.

Altitude control system

A system for an unmanned aerial vehicle can include an altitude control system, which further includes a compressor assembly, a valve assembly, and an electronics assembly. The compressor assembly may include a driveshaft and a bearing assembly configured to rotate the driveshaft. The driveshaft may be formed from a first material and a compressor housing may be formed from a second material. The first and second materials may have different rates of thermal expansion. A dynamic preloading mechanism, such as a flexible plate, may be provided within the compressor assembly to exert a preloading force on the bearing assembly. Throughout the duration of the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle, the preloading mechanism can continually compensate for differences in rates of thermal expansion between the first and second materials throughout.

A motor housing includes a core and a shell having an annular body. The annular body is configured to secure a stator of a motor therein. The annular body includes first and second ends defining first and second openings, respectively. The annular body defines a slot extending along a length of the annular body. The slot is coterminous with the first opening. The core is configured to be in registration with the shell. The core is configured to rotatably support a rotating assembly of the motor including an output shaft. The core includes a base portion, an annular ring, and a guide arm interconnecting the base portion and the annular ring. The core is in registration with the shell when the guide arm is received in the slot of the annular body of the shell to form an interlocking structure.
