A thermal management device for cooling a coolant for an ice maker that is remote relative to the thermal management device includes a housing, a coolant line through which the coolant is configured to flow, and a fan configured to move air through the housing of the thermal management device. The thermal management device includes a heat exchanger and a pump configured to move the coolant, via the coolant line, through the heat exchanger. The thermal management device includes a pressure sensor configured to determine a pressure of the coolant in the coolant line. A speed of the pump or a speed of the fan is controllable based on the determined pressure, such that heat transfer between the air moved through the housing and the coolant in the coolant line is controllable without a direct electrical connection of the thermal management device to the ice maker.

An ice machine includes a housing including a front panel, a first sidewall, a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall, and an opening. The first sidewall and the second sidewall extend away from the front panel. The ice machine also includes a guide at or adjacent to an inner surface of the first sidewall, an inner surface of the second sidewall, or an inner surface of the front panel. The ice machine includes a door movably coupled to the guide. From a first position of the door, the door is pivotable away from the opening and translatable along the guide down into a second position.

An ice scoop includes a barrier having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The ice scoop also includes a scoop portion extending away from the first side of the barrier, and a handle portion extending away from the second side of the barrier. The handle portion includes at least one wall extending away from the second side of the barrier. The at least one wall of the handle portion and the barrier define a cavity. The handle portion also includes a handhold attached to a wall of the at least one wall, the barrier, or the wall and the barrier within the cavity.
