A filter cell element for use in a housing to form a filtering assembly. The filter element has a media pack having an interior and a separator element having a passage therein for radial fluid communication between the media pack interior and an edge of the media pack. An overmold seal at the media pack edge seals the media pack to the separator element. Methods of making the filter element and methods of using are also disclosed.

Filter element and seal therefor

A rotatable valve spool for a spool valve manifold. The rotatable valve spool having a longitudinal axis along its length, a cylindrical body, a first end, and a second end. A first angled seal, a second angled seal, an optional central seal, and an outer seal each disposed on the cylindrical body with the optional central seal disposed between the first and second angled seals and the outer seal disposed between the second angled seal and the second end. A first flow port in the cylindrical body disposed outboard of the first angled seal between the first angled seal and the first end or disposed in the first end, and a second flow port disposed outboard of the second angled seal between the second angled seal and the outer seal.

Rotatable value spool for a manifold

Systems and kits for decorating walls include a plurality of d&#xe9;cor assemblies and a plurality of complementary fastening structures. The d&#xe9;cor assemblies include a d&#xe9;cor element and a releasable fastening structure providing first fastening elements. The complementary fastening structure includes a base, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the base, and second fastening elements. The first fastening elements are releasably mateable with the second fastening elements to define a releasable fastening system. During use, a complementary fastening structure is releasably applied to a wall, and is connected to and supports one of the d&#xe9;cor assemblies via the releasable fastening system. The releasable fastening system can comprise low profile hooks and loops, exhibiting relatively low holding power.

A filter cartridge is disclosed comprising a housing comprising a terminal end, a connective end, and a longitudinal axis, the connective end comprising a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The filter cartridge further comprises a filtration media disposed within the housing between the terminal end and the connective end and fluidly connecting the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. One of the fluid inlet or the fluid outlet comprises one or more anti-drip capillary channels, the transverse cross-section of the anti-drip capillary channels being elongate in at least one direction.

A liquid storage tank assembly includes a baffle member and a tank assembly. The baffle member includes a generally helical or spiral shaped portion. The baffle member defines a spiral flow path between inlet and outlet openings of the tank assembly. When the baffle member is positioned within the tank and the tank assembly holds a volume of a first liquid, input of a supply of a second liquid at the inlet to the tank assembly forces the first liquid along the spiral flow path and out of the tank assembly exit without substantial mixing of the first and second liquids before substantially all of the first liquid has been dispensed.

A crossflow filtration system including at least one quick dry change crossflow filtration cartridge designed to rotatably interface with a manifold assembly. The quick dry change crossflow filtration cartridge can comprise a membrane element, for example an ultrafiltration membrane, microfiltration membrane, nanofiltration membrane or reverse osmosis membrane element enclosed within a housing. The quick dry change cartridge includes an inlet stream, a permeate stream and a concentrate stream. The manifold assembly includes three similar flow paths; an inlet stream, a permeate stream and a concentrate stream. When engaged, the cartridge and manifold assembly define continuous inlet flow paths, permeate flow paths and concentrate flow paths that connect across the interface. Thus, all of the connections to the water filtration system can be made onto the manifold, and the resulting connected system is compact and easy to connect.

Crossflow filtration system with quick dry change elements

A connector assembly for creating a plastic tube joint in a length of plastic tubing having a distal end, a proximal end and a hollow lumen includes forming a flare in the tube proximate the proximal end thereof by means of a flared ferrule disposed in the lumen and defining a void between the flare and the proximal end of the tubing, the void being defined between the ferrule and a collet, the tubing contracting into the void, and forming a neck between the ferrule and the collet proximate the ferrule flare, the neck substantially permanently capturing the tubing contracted into the void; and substantially permanently bonding the collet to a connector body. A connector assembly for simultaneously forming a plastic tube joint in a pair of plastic tubes is further included as is a method for simultaneously forming a plastic tube joint in a pair of plastic tubes.
